IIT Kanpur has released the information brochure for JEE Advanced 2025, declaring a hike in the application fees for exam centres outside India. In 2025, the exam will be conducted throughout 222 cities in India and at two international centres situated in Abu Dhabi and Kathmandu. However, the exam centre in Dubai has been discontinued for this session.
Candidates who opt for Abu Dhabi and Kathmandu as their exam centres for the JEE Advanced 2025 must pay an application fee of USD 150, while those from non-SAARC countries will have to pay an application fee of USD 250. This marks a hike of USD 50 compared to the application fee of the previous year. Meanwhile, the application fee for exam centres in India remains the same.
According to the exam schedule, IIT Kanpur will start the JEE Advanced 2025 registration process on April 23, 2025, at 10 am. Candidates who meet the exam's eligibility criteria, can submit their application forms on the JEE Advance official website at jeeadv.ac.in. The last date to submit the forms is May 2, 2025. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on May 18, 2025.
While registering for the exam, candidates must choose ten preferred cities as their exam centres. At the same time, steps will be taken to assign a test centre based on the candidate's preferences. In a few cases, a different city might be allocated.
