The Medical Counselling Committee has officially posted NEET PG 2024 seat resignation dates on its website. MCC has issued a formal notice stating that, for students who want to resign their round 1 and round 2 seat for any reason, a resignation will be accepted at the earliest till 6 PM on December 26, 2024. However, students are suggested not to wait for MCC NEET PG seat resignation until the last date 2024 and leave their seats at the earliest to avoid discrepancies at the last moment.
NEET PG Counselling 2024: Guidelines for Resignation
The candidates who would like to resign their seats should note the following instructions:
- New lot round 2 candidates, who have joined their seat but now want to resign, can vacate their allotted seat with forfeiture of security deposit within the stipulated time of resignation.
- Students will have to go to the chosen college to resign their seats.
- Candidates who came in the process of round 2 got upgraded into an upgraded seat but they wish to resign from that seat can resign from that allotted seat without prejudice to this provision and leave the security deposit within the time stipulated for resignation.
- Candidates have to ensure that their resignation letter is generated online by the allotted college. Otherwise, the resignation will be treated as 'Null & Void'.
NEET PG 2024 Counselling Latest News
The counseling process for MCC round 3 NEET PG 2024 begins from 26 December 2024 onwards. The eligibility includes students who are qualified under NEET PG, who didn't participate or got a seat in the prior rounds of counseling. Hence, applicants shall be eligible for admission through All India Quota to PG medical courses across all India.
