Admission: The teachers here are really nice and friendly. They treat us like family.
Placement: When I first started at this college, not many students were getting jobs after graduation. Only about 30-40% of us were getting placed. But things have gotten a lot better now. These days, almost 90% of students are finding jobs after they finish their studies.
Campus: There's a big area for playing cricket and football, with two badminton courts too. Lots of indoor games to enjoy, and the hostel facilities are pretty good.

Admission: The teachers at Ghani Khan College for mechanical engineering are really helpful and know their stuff well. They teach in a way that's easy to understand. They guide us properly, so we know what to do. The course curriculum gets us ready for the industry. But, I gotta say, the semester exams are no walk in the park.
Placement: At Ghani Khan College, students in mechanical engineering have good chances for placements. Around 40-45% of students get placed. The average salary is between 4-7 LPA. Companies like Genpact, Zealous, ZOHO, and Oracle come for placements. It's a good opportunity for mechanical engineering students at our college.
Campus: The facilities at our course were okay. The college has a helpful management that gives us everything we need. They provide hostel, labs with all the equipment, library, canteen, and Wi-Fi. Plus, there are plenty of sports facilities for us to enjoy.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really know their stuff and are always ready to help. The teaching is top-notch, and they prepare us well for the real world. Everyone passes with flying colors, and the course content is spot on. The exams aren't too tough either. Overall, it's a great place to learn and grow.
Placement: Around half of the students in our course found jobs after graduating. And about three-quarters of students landed internships during their time here. The college is really focused on boosting job opportunities for us. Plus, a bunch of food companies come looking to hire from our program.
Campus: The facilities here are top-notch. Our hostel has great amenities, and the food in the mess and canteen is tasty. Plus, they've got good medical services and sports facilities. And don't even get me started on the library it's amazing!

Admission: The teachers here are really great - they're friendly, smart, and know their stuff. The exams at the end of the semester are tough, but if you study hard, you can pass. Most students make it through though, around 90%. The course itself is super useful too.
Placement: Most students in our college get jobs easily. The best salary offered is around 6.5 LPA. Many students do internships at Tata Steel, DVC, and similar companies. The lowest salary given is around 1.8 LPA, and on average, students get around 3 LPA.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere. Classrooms are big and tidy with study tables and chairs. The library is great. The hostel is spacious and clean. Food at the canteen is good quality.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really know their stuff and have lots of experience in different engineering areas. They are super talented and qualified to teach us. The course follows the latest syllabus and offers 3 specializations: electrical, mechanical, and food tech engineering.
Placement: Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology in Malda is a cool tech college. Lots of students here can take exams like JEE Main, WBJEE, JELET, and more. It's a central college. We study cool stuff like food technology here. The teachers are super helpful. The college helps us find good jobs after we graduate. Over 70% of past students found jobs. We also get good internships here.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere. They have good labs and a variety of books. The classrooms are nice and there's a big library. The electrical engineering labs are improving with new instruments. The college is working on having 24/7 electricity and water. The classrooms can fit about 60 students. They have all the recommended books in the library.

Admission: The faculty in our course are awesome and super friendly. They really get our struggles and listen to our feedback, which is the best part about GKCIET. You gotta show up for class to take the exams, and the college is pretty strict about it. It's tough to pass the semester exams without putting in the work. So, for those who think they can cram the night before, better think twice 'cause the exams are no joke.
Placement: Most students find placements easily. During the 8th semester, the college arranges internships. The placement cell works hard to ensure all students get placed. Big companies like Nestle, Keventer, Bengal Beverages, etc., come for placements. We don't need to stress about placements, just give our best. The college offers opportunities, so let's put in the effort. Success comes from working on ourselves, not waiting for handouts.
Campus: The labs have everything we need. The classrooms are awesome. The library is perfect for studying. Hostel facilities are top-notch with a lift and great rooms. Only thing is the food in the mess could be better.

Admission: The teachers in other departments are really helpful. But in the mechanical department, there's a lot of pressure. It gets you ready for work though. We have 4 CAs, 2 practicals, and 1 final exam each semester. Since it's linked to MAKAUT, you gotta score above 40 to pass.
Placement: I'm in mechanical engineering, so there aren't many job opportunities. Last year, about 30 students found jobs. Most were from electrical engineering, only a few from mechanical. Our college offers workshops and internships in Autocad, Ansys, etc., which are great for mechanical students. We can also do internships in winter and summer.
Campus: The department facilities are pretty bad. The labs are small and can't fit many students. There's not enough equipment. But the library is great and well-kept. The hostel is awesome, super comfy. It's got a balcony, bed, chair, table, and fans. Two students can share a room. The mess food isn't good, unfortunately. But the canteen has free Wi-Fi, even though the food isn't that great. They hold sports events every year, which is cool. It's a chance for students to try out different sports.

Admission: The teachers here are super smart and went to top schools. Only downside is they mostly speak Bengali, so just let them know if you don't speak it. The academics are top-notch, with faculty who really care about their students.
Placement: The placement percentage is a bit low, but there are a lot of internships available at the college. Some of them even partner with top institutes like IIT Kharagpur. Companies that come for hiring here include Planetspark, IndiaMart, and PHN.
Campus: One downside of this college is that there's no extra Wi-Fi for students, but you can still get Wi-Fi in the canteen. The library is great, and the hostels are really nice. There are 2 buildings for the hostels, and they're kept clean. The hostel management is also pretty good.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart and know their stuff. They teach really well and even have extra classes to help us with any questions. The courses we take are spot on for getting us ready for work in the real world. And the teachers are always there to support us no matter what.
Placement: I'm Tonmoy Ghosh. No students have been placed from Ghani Khan Engineering yet. The seniors in B.Tech are currently in their 3rd year. I don't know the average salary package. The top companies that come for placements are Flipkart, Amazon, and others.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere, which is awesome. The labs are really good, and you can find all sorts of books in the library. The classrooms are spacious and nice. The library is well-equipped too.

Admission: The teachers at our college are super helpful and really know their stuff. They come from different good schools. Some new teachers were picked by the education ministry in India. Some of them even have experience working in industries. Our courses follow WBSCTE for Diploma students and MAKAUT for degree students. Passing all the semesters was fun, and our pass rate is around 70%.
Placement: The college helps students get jobs in top companies like TCS, Wipro, and Pie Infocom. On average, those who get placed have around 75%. The starting salary is at least INR 3 lakhs per year in good companies. Some students also get internships at places like NTPC, MSME Tool Room, and Indian Coal Pvt. Ltd.
Campus: The college is funded by the government of India. It has good infrastructure with four academic buildings, an admin building, a central library, and a robotics lab. There's also accommodation for both boys and girls, as well as faculty housing.
