Deccan College of Engineering and Technology admits students to UG courses either through A-Category or B.Category.

• A-Category (Convener Seats):

• Admissions to B.E. programs under the A-Category are conducted through state-level entrance exams organized by the Government of Telangana such as TS EAMCET.
• 70% of the seats in each branch under the A-Category are distributed according to the final results of the corresponding entrance exams.

• B-Category (Management Seats):

B-Category seats, often known as management seats, represent the remaining 30% of seats in each branch. Guidelines established by the Telangana government control admissions for this category. A separate notification will be issued by the competent authority to provide detailed instructions and application timelines for these seats.

Deccan College of Engineering and Technology Lateral Entry Admissions

Under this category, diploma holders who qualify for the TS ECET exam are eligible for direct admission into the 2nd year of the B.E. program. These admissions are managed by the Convener of TS ECET, Government of Telangana. A total of 10% of the total intake is reserved for this category.

Deccan College of Engineering and Technology offers postgraduate admissions for 2025 in various programs, including M.E in Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, MCA, M.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Digital Systems), and others.
