Admissions to Delhi School of Economics 2024 are based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores, which are administered by NTA for all undergraduate and graduate programs. Aspirants for all UG courses must take CUET UG, while applicants for all PG programs except MBA must take CUET PG. For DSE MBA admissions, CAT is required, followed by GD-PI extempore. Once the CUET results are available, candidates must register on Delhi University's Admission Portal - admission.uod.ac.in - and fill out their selected courses and college preferences. Seats for undergraduate applications will be allocated using the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).
Admission to Ph.D./MPhil programs is based on an entrance exam administered by DU; however, applicants who have passed CSIR/UGC-NET, including JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, and DST-INSPIRE, must appear straight for the PI round.
For PG admissions, 50% of total seats will be filled on a merit basis in their qualifying exams for candidates who completed their bachelor's degrees at Delhi University, with the other 50% awarded based on CUET PG scores. The Delhi School of Economics additionally reserves 50% of its total seats for candidates from the ST/SC/OBC/EWS/PWD categories.

Phase I: CSAS Application Form
Aspirants must submit the CSAS application form through the centralised admission site and pay a one-time, non-refundable application fee.
ECA and sports quota candidates will be required to pay an extra charge.
Phase 2: Course and College Preferences
The second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
Following the release of the CUET results, eligible candidates must select courses and indicate their preferred colleges via the centralised CSAS portal.
Phase Three: Seat Allocation and Final Admission
The merit list will be determined based on CUET scores.
Multiple rounds of seat allocation will be carried out.
Candidates can check the CSAS dashboard to see if they have been assigned a seat. If assigned a seat, candidates must accept it on or before the specified date for that round.
Seat allocation will be dependent on a variety of factors, including the candidate's choice of college and program, rank on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR), and availability of seats.
