Pondicherry University is spread in an area of around 800 acres. It is a well known University which has great infrastructure containing almost all facilities like health center, classrooms, research labs, laboratories and computer labs, Cafeteria ,indoor and outdoor sports facility, staff room, department rooms, Bank on Campus, parking lot and bus center for the students and staff etc. Pondicherry University also has an auditorium with a capacity of over 900. It also provides huge grounds for cricket, basketball court, rooms for cultural activities, sports complex, eateries , library, laboratories etc.
Library:
The College has a very well maintained library which has a great infrastructure with a 24/7 wifi enabled system which helps students without facing any issues while accessing the books.It also operates as an open access system centrally for providing smooth accessibility to students. Its library has a seating capacity of around 700+ students which includes Students Aid Fund section, laptops, desktops for differently-abled. The library of the College provides great opportunities to the students by providing various opportunities like internships opportunities etc.
Laboratories:
Pondicherry University provides various laboratories to the students under the program of Science, Arts and Commerce etc. It has around 12+ research labs , computer labs with latest facilities and modern features. By these laboratories students will get hands-on experience in the field of various related programs and be able to visualize the real life things in easy ways.
IT Infrastructure:
The College provides IT infrastructure for students to ensure the smooth academics. It provides 600+ laptops, 350+ desktops, Around 10 computer labs, browsing centers, and an e-learning center in the Library for students from various departments to gain hands-on experience in every field. It provides wifi for the whole campus which helps students to explore everything in the meantime.
Health Centre:
The University also provides a Health Centre which is located at a hygiene place of the college.it addresses the health or medical issues of the students and ensures to provide the best facilities. The institute has highly qualified doctors, apart from that institute also allows doctors from outside for helping the students. It also provides medical insurance for the students.
Sports facilities:
- The University provides sports facilities for students to relieve their stress from academics after academic activities. It provides opportunities in the field of sports which includes extra curricular activities. It provides facilities for various types of sports which are known as indoor and outdoor sports.
- The College provides a well managed cricket ground which is spread across 1,60,500 square feets with six practice nets and various facilities. It also provides a football ground which is spread across 60,000 square feets and well maintained basketball, volleyball and badminton courts. As mentioned above it provides indoor games like carrom, chess and table tennis etc.
- It also provides a gym in an open area for students to maintain well shaped bodies. It also allows students to avail swimming pool facilities at nearby stadiums by paying some fees. The swimming pools include highly qualified personal trainers to help the students.
Canteen:
The College provides Canteens for students to have the best food after the hectic schedule of classes and labs. It provides one common canteen for the students and staff and other canteens for students. The canteen has a well maintained hygiene kitchen with a highly qualified chef and everytime it uses fresh ingredients and items for the good taste and healthy environment.
Guest Room and post office:
The College Provides Guest rooms for guests who will be visiting the college for various purposes like fests, workshops and seminars. It also has post office facilities for students to post anything anywhere. It will be provided for guests who visit the college during the college events like tech fests , seminars, annual cultural fests , research programs etc. those who are willing to stay in the guest room should book before at least a week or two weeks through the University’s website.
Bank:
The college provides Banks in the campus to help the students to have smooth transactions or banking facilities. It provides banks like Indian Bank. Students can visit these banks to have a better offline banking process for transactions or depositing the money and students can avail facilities like ATM machines for offline cash for their needs.
Shopping Complex:
Pondicherry University provides one shopping complex for the students with various facilities. It can be availed by faculty, students and staff.it is for general supplies, groceries, bakers and saloons etc.
