The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will hold a Common Entrance Test, known as the Education Common Entrance Test-2024 (APEdCET-2024), on behalf of the Andhra University, Vijayanagar Palace, Visakhapatnam-530017. This test is intended to be taken by applicants seeking admission to the B.Ed. Regular Course and B.Ed. Special Education programs in Andhra Pradesh's university, government, assisted, and private colleges of education for the academic year 2025-2026.

The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen-paper-based). The total number of questions asked in the paper is 150, and the total number of marks is 150. The marking scheme of the examination is as follows: +1 marks for each correct answer, and for each incorrect answer there will be no mark deducted.

AP EDCET 2025 Application Process
Candidates desirous of taking admission in the programs have to apply for AP EDCET online. Foreign candidates can apply for their courses. The candidates are required to apply only as per the procedure mentioned in details below.

- The candidates should have to visit the official website.
- Fill in all the required information, and after the registration, the registration ID and password will be created.
- Go through and fill out the application form.
- Fill out all the required documents; select the examination city and category.
- Upload the scanned picture of the candidate and signature.
- Pay the application fee.

AP EDCET 2025 Eligibility
Candidates can check the course-wise eligibility criteria for 2025:
Candidates should be aware that they can only appear in the CG Pre B.Ed. 2025 entrance exam if they meet the requirements for eligibility. Candidates should carefully review the qualifying requirements before completing the application.
- The candidates should be Indian Nationals
- The candidates should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh educational institution.
- Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA either in the Bachelor’s Degree i.e., B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M/B.A(O.L) and or in the Post- Graduate Degree in relevant subject or 5 years integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other qualification equivalent thereto. However the candidates belong to all other reserved categories S.C, S.T, B.C.(A/B/C/D/E), and physically handicapped should have secured a minimum of 40% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination.
- Age limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 19 years on the 1st of July in the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no maximum age limit.

AP EDCET 2025 Admit Card
Candidates should have downloaded the hall ticket from the official website of the university. To download the admit card, candidates should have to enter their registered email ID and password that was generated during the registration process.
Candidates have to carry a print copy of the hall ticket along with two passport-size recent colour photographs at the exam centre on the day of the exam.
