Assam CEE 2025 Detailed Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  • Applicants must be Indian citizens.
  • Domicile Requirement: Candidates must fulfill the domicile conditions of Assam.

Age Limit

  • General Age Limit: Candidates must be between 17 to 21 years old as of December 31, 2025.
  • For B.Sc Passed Candidates: The upper age limit is 22 years.

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed the last qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) in one attempt.

  • Grace Marks: Candidates must not have used grace marks to pass in any of the required subjects.

Minimum Marks Requirement

  • General Category: Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • SC Candidates: Minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • ST Candidates: Minimum of 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Number of Attempts

  • No Limit on Attempts: Candidates can appear for the exam multiple times.
  • Age Restriction: However, they can only attempt the exam until they reach the maximum age limit (21 years for general candidates, 22 years for B.Sc passed candidates, and 24 years for SC/ ST candidates).

  • Domicile Proof: Candidates must provide valid proof of Assam domicile during the application process.
