CSIR NET Exam Day Instructions 2024
Candidates need to follow the given CSIR NET Exam Day Guidelines at the exam centres:
- Reach on Time: Students must arrive at the exam center at the time mentioned in the admit card. No one will be allowed to enter after the gate closing time.
- No Early Exit: Students cannot leave the exam hall before the exam ends.
- Follow Instructions: After the exam, students must wait for the invigilator's instructions and leave the hall one by one.
- Admit Card is Important: The admit card is temporary and valid only if the student meets the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Information Bulletin.
- Check Exam Center Location: Students should check the exam center location a day before the exam to avoid any issues on the exam day.
- Special Attire: If religion or customs require specific clothes, students should reach the exam center early for checking and frisking.
- Required Documents: Students must bring the admit card, self-declaration form, valid ID proof, and go through frisking. Without these, they won’t be allowed inside.
- Fill Self-Declaration Form: Before the exam, students must fill out the self-declaration form on the admit card, paste a photograph, and add a thumb impression in the correct place.
- Extra Time for PwBD Candidates: Students with 40% or more disability (PwBD) will get 20 minutes extra per hour. They must bring a disability certificate and ensure the scribe (if provided) carries all required documents.
- No Personal Belongings: Students cannot bring personal items, electronic devices, or mobile phones to the exam center.
- Dress Code: Avoid wearing shoes with thick soles or clothes with large buttons.
