On February 25, 2025, AMRU, HP, announced the final seat allocation results for the HP NEET PG counselling stray vacancy round. The institute's admission deadlines and seat allocations were February 27 and 28, 2025. On February 18, 2025, the HP NEET PG stray vacancy round commenced. 

The HP NEET PG counselling registration 2025 opened on January 9, 2025. Following an extension in the deadline, applications for the new HP NEET PG registrations were accepted online at amruhp.ac.in till January 13, 2025.

Under the direction of the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Government of Himachal Pradesh, Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU) organises the HP NEET PG counselling. Candidates who pass the NEET PG test and want to enrol in MD, MS, or PG Diploma programs at medical schools around the state must go through this process.

HP NEET PG Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates who want to participate in the Himachal Pradesh NEET PG counselling must meet the following requirements: 

• To compete in Himachal Pradesh NEET PG counselling, a candidate must be an Indian national. 
• To be eligible to enrol in the government medical college of Himachal Pradesh, a student must be a resident of the state. 
• Non-domicile candidates may, however, apply for seats with a private quota. 
• The student must have earned an MBBS from a Himachal Pradesh college. 
• By August 15, 2024, the student must have finished a 12-month rotating internship. Candidates must be registered with either the BCI (State Dental Council) or the MCC (State Medical Council) in order to take part in HP NEET PG counselling 2024–25.

HP NEET PG Counselling Application 2025

• Candidates must register for counselling through the official website of the conducting authority at https://amruhp.ac.in/, and pay the registration fees to apply for the HP NEET PG counselling.

• The HP NEET PG counselling online application form must be completed by the candidate through the official website at https://amruhp.ac.in/. Students must fill out the HP NEET PG counselling application form with accurate and valid details. Name, gender, address, category, and contact details are among these details.

• The candidate must then deposit the registration fee based on the number of courses they have applied for and compare the fee to the category they fall under. If there is an error in the application, it will be corrected, and the user will be informed. If students want to make modifications to the online admission form, they must pay the application correction fee.

HP NEET PG Counselling Application Fee 2025

The academic fee must be paid as the last step in the application procedure to confirm admission. Candidates must pay this application fee online. Candidates can use net banking, a credit card, or a debit card, to pay the fee. The HP NEET PG Application Fee 2025 is INR 3300 for the General category and INR 2200 for the other reserved categories.

Choice Filling and Choice Locking for HP NEET PG Counselling

• Candidates must use their registration number and transaction ID created at the time of registration to complete online choices at the official website, amruhp.ac.in, during the choice filling and locking window. 
• Candidates must select the colleges that best suit their priorities. They are free to select as many options as they like.
• Candidates must use the online choices for the Round 1 counselling after the dates are announced. 
• The final and provisional merit lists will thereafter be made public. 
• The option locking window and choice filling will be accessible during the HP NEET PG Round-2 counselling.
•  Additionally, the schedule for the stray vacancy round and the third round of exercising the web option has been released.

HP NEET PG/MDS Counselling: Seat Allotment

Applicants can visit amruhp.ac.in to view the seat allocation status from the DMER, Shimla. It is recommended that candidates download the HP NEET PG MD/MS seat allotment letter, which they must provide when they report to the assigned college. Candidates are given seats on the basis of their rank, grade, and personal preferences. The result of each counselling round of the HP NEET PG seat allocation will be released shortly.

HP NEET PG State Merit List 

Based on the NEET PG 2024 scores, the candidates' HP NEET PG merit list will be released. The lists for HP PG Medical and HP PG Dental Admission will be released separately. Depending on where they stand on the merit rankings, the applicants are invited for the HP NEET PG counselling. 

The HP NEET PG Round-2 counselling provisional merit list will be made available both category-wise and quota-wise.
