Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) will declare the JKCET result in 2025 on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in. The Board prepares a list in order of inter-se merit of candidates in the JKCET in descending order for the open merit category and similarly for each reserved category separately. Candidates can check the JKCET 2025 result on the official website and the page below. The candidates who are declared qualified in the JKCET exam have to then appear in the online counselling process.

The candidates who qualify in JKCET can submit the online/offline preference forms for JKCET counselling. The online/offline preference form enables a candidate to fill in the preferences for various disciplines/institutions for allotment of seats for admission in BE/BTech Engineering courses in the government and private colleges of the UT of J&K/Ladakh. JKCET counselling will have 2 rounds and one mop-up round. A final, special counselling round can be held if needed.
The minimum mark to qualify in the JKCET exam is 10. A candidate having scored less than 10 marks on the entrance test shall not be considered for admission.
There is no upper age bar for appearing in JKCET for admission to Engineering Courses, both in Government and Private Colleges. However, candidates must have the domicile certificate of UT of J&K or ST certificate issued by a competent Authority of UT of Ladakh be treated as the Domicile certificate of UT of Ladakh and 10+2 passed/passing in the curren year of JKCET exam.
Yes. Candidates who wish to go for re-totalling of marks can proceed with it by paying INR 1000/- per subject at POS Machine in BOPEE Office at Jammu / Srinagar. BOPEE will accept the written request along with the payment receipt within 3 days, after the declaration of the JKCET result.

The maximum marks in total in JKCET is 180. 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks is deducted. Each 3 sections of the question paper has 60 questions and has a maximum of 60 marks.
