National-level exam for undergraduate engineering and architecture program admissions in various institutions, including NITs and IIITs.
Candidates give the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) exam for admission in BE, B.Arch and B.Planning courses. The JEE exam is conducted by NTA. Through the JEE exam, qualified candidates can get admission to the top institutes across the country.
It consists of papers including in paper 1- is for admission in B.Tech/ BE courses and paper-2, it has two parts, 2A is for B.Arch courses and 2B is for B.Plan courses.
There are two sections for each subject- section- A MCQ and Section- B Numerical questions. In section A, there are 20 questions from each subject, and they all are compulsory. In section B, 10 questions are asked from each.
