NMAT 2025 Registration, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Fees, and Application Process

NMAT 2025 registration will begin in early August. GMAC, the organization that conducts the exam, will open the registration process online. During this time, candidates can sign up, choose their exam date, and pay the fee. The registration cost is INR 2,800. NMAT scores are accepted by many good colleges in India, such as NMIMS, SPJIMR, and TAPMI.

To register, candidates must first create an account, fill out the application form, pick preferred colleges, and pay the fee. Anyone who has completed a bachelor’s degree can apply for the exam. More details, including important dates and registration steps, will be shared later.

NMAT, also known as the NMIMS Management Aptitude Test, is a popular exam for students who want to study management. It is conducted by GMAC and is accepted by top colleges like KJ Somaiya, XIMB, TAPMI, SPJIMR, ISB, VIT Vellore, and SDA Bocconi.

The exam can be taken over a 70-day period, and candidates get three chances to improve their scores. There are 76 exam centers in 73 cities, making it easy for students in even remote areas to take the test. The exam can also be taken from home. Exam centers are assigned based on who applies first, so it’s better to register early.

NMAT 2025 Eligibility

No matter which institute Students are applying to for MBA/ PGDM, candidates need to follow some basic rules to be eligible for NMAT 2025:

• Qualifying Examination: Candidates must hold a three-year graduation degree from a recognised institute/university.
• Score in Qualifying Examination: Candidates must score a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent in the final year of the bachelor degree.
• Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for NMAT 2025.

Note: Candidates who are appearing in the final year examination of their graduation degree are also eligible for NMAT 2025. However, admissions to participating institutes will be provisional, subject to the fulfillment of the above-mentioned eligibility conditions.

NMAT 2025 Application Modes

The NMAT 2025 application process is done online, and the exam is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). This means candidates can apply through the internet and take the test on a computer. Step 2: Click on the Registration Link

On the homepage, the registration section can be found. The link titled “Register for NMAT by GMAC” must be selected. This will open the registration portal.

Step 3: Create a New Account

A login account is required to begin the registration process. Basic personal details need to be provided, including:

• Full Name (as per ID proof)
• Valid Email Address
• Mobile Number
• Date of Birth
• Country and State of Residence

A password must be created, along with a Login ID, which will be required for future access.

Step 4: Log In to the Portal

After account creation, the Login ID and Password can be used to access the NMAT registration portal.

Step 5: Fill Out the Application Form

The NMAT application form will appear upon login. The form requires accurate details such as:

• Personal Information
• Contact Details
• Educational Qualifications
• Work Experience (if applicable)
• Preferred MBA/PGDM Programs and Institutes

Care must be taken to ensure that all provided information is accurate.

Step 6: Upload Required Documents

Scanned copies of the necessary documents must be uploaded:

• Passport-size Photograph (as per specifications)
• Signature
• Valid ID Proof (such as Aadhar Card, Passport, etc.)

Uploaded documents should be clear and in the specified format (JPEG, PNG, or PDF).

Step 7: Payment of Registration Fee

The payment section allows the selection of a preferred payment method, including:

• Net Banking
• UPI

The NMAT registration fee must be paid online.

Step 8: Submit the Application

Upon successful payment, the application can be reviewed. The “Submit & Proceed” button must be selected to complete the registration process.

Step 9: Download the Confirmation Page

After submission, a confirmation page will be displayed. This confirmation page should be downloaded and kept safely for future reference.

NMAT 2025 Admit Card

The NMAT 2025 admit card becomes available seven days before the selected exam date. While scheduling the exam, candidates choose the exam date, time slot, and test centre location. The NMAT 2025 admit card displays the details provided during this slot booking. It can be downloaded from the NMAT login dashboard. A printed copy of the admit card is mandatory for entry into the exam centre. For each attempt at the NMAT, a separate admit card is required.

• Website not loading or crashing during registration: Check internet connection, clear browser cache, or try a different browser like Chrome or Firefox. Avoid peak hours for registration.

• Unable to select exam dates or centers: Refresh the page or log out and log in again. If slots are full, check for additional dates GMAC may announce later.

2. Documentation Issues

• Difficulty uploading documents (e.g., photo, signature): Ensure the file is in the required format (JPEG/ PNG) and within the specified size limit. Use online tools to resize or convert files if needed.
• Documents getting rejected during verification: Double-check the guidelines for document specifications (e.g., clear background for photos, proper dimensions for signatures).

3. Account and Login Issues

• Forgot login credentials (username/password): Use the "Forgot Password" option to reset credentials. Keep login details saved securely for future use.
• Account not activated after registration: Check the registered email for a confirmation link. If not received, contact GMAC support or check the spam folder.

4. Payment Issues

• Payment deducted but application status not updated: Wait for 24 hours for the system to update. If the issue persists, contact GMAC support with the payment receipt and transaction ID.
• Unable to find the payment confirmation email: Check the spam/junk folder. If not found, log in to the application portal to check the payment status.

5. General Application Issues

• Confusion about filling out the application form: Read the instructions carefully before filling out the form. Keep all required details (personal, academic, and contact information) ready beforehand.
