PGIMER Chandigarh will consider INI CET 2025 examination for admission into their MD/ MS courses. INI CET 2025 July session exam date has been announced. The examination will be conducted on May 18, 2025. All the candidates can register for the exam from the fourth week of March 2025. The end date to apply for INI CET 2025 exam is set as the third week of April 2025. Approximately 60000 students appear in the INI CET exam every year.
PGIMER MD/MS 2025
INI CET 2025 exam like previous years will be conducted in an online mode. The exam is conducted for over 3 hours time duration. The question paper will be set in a single language, i.e., in English. INI CET question paper is divided into four parts. A total of 200 multiple-choice-based questions were asked in the exam carrying a +1 mark for correctly attempting. Every incorrect attempt dwells a -0.33 mark deduction. INI CET 2025 syllabus will include Pre-Clinical, Para-clinical, and Clinical topics. The results of INI CET 2025 are expected to be declared by the fourth week of May 2025. Students can check the respective results by matching the roll number. INI CET results will include roll number, category, rank obtained, and percentile obtained. The minimum qualifying marks are set as 50 percentile for the General/ EWS categories. The qualifying mark for the reserved categories as well as PwD students and Bhutanese residents is the 45 percentile.
What is PGIMER MD/ MS 2025 Exam?
INI CET entrance test conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi, will be considered for PGIMER, Chandigarh’s MD/ MS courses. It is a postgraduate examination conducted on a national level. Every year, AIIMS conducts INI CET examination two times, once in January and once in June session admission. The test is conducted in over 100 to 135 exam cities in an online computer-based mode. Apart from PGIMER Chandigarh, students can also be admitted into 19 AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, and SCTIMST Trivandrum with INI CET scores.

PGIMER MD/ MS 2025 Application Process
PGIMER MD/MS 2025 registration process is expected to starts in the fourth week of March 2025. The registration process is carried out online at the website, mdmsmch.aiimsexams.ac.in. Students need to provide respective personal details such as names, guardian’s names, date of birth, contact, and academic details. Along with these, a scanned copy of the photograph, signature, and left thumb print must be uploaded. The size of the scanned photograph should be within 50-100 KB and for the signature and left thumb impression, the size is mandated as 20-100 KB.
INI CET registration fee for the General/ EWS is INR 4000 and INR 3200 for SC/ ST/ EWS. However, differently-abled (PwD) students are exempted from paying the fees. The last date to register for INI CET 2025 exam is expected to be the third week of April 2025.
PGIMER MD/ MS 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Students meeting INI CET 2025 eligibility criteria can fill out the form and appear in the examination. The eligibility criteria for INI CET have been set by AIIMS, New Delhi. The criteria regarding nationality, age limit, and academic qualifications are as follows:

PGIMER MD/ MS 2025 Admit Card
All candidates who have registered successfully can download respective admit cards. The hall tickets releases every year at the website, aiimsexams.ac.in. Students need to provide the registration ID, login password, and the Exam Unique Code (EUC) for downloading the admit cards. Aspirants also need to follow the test day instructions as remain specified in the admit card. According to it, candidates must report at least 2 hours at the allotted center before the exam starts.

INI CET 2025 results will be released as a merit list of all appeared students. Students need to check their roll number-wise obtained marks and percentile. There is also a tie-breaking rule for candidates obtaining similar scores in the exam. According to the scoring rules, the tie is broken as per the candidate obtaining the less negative marks followed by the older age one. Based on INI CET 2025 result publication, the MD/ MS curriculum at PGIMER, Chandigarh will start by the first week of July 2025.
PGIMER MD/ MS 2025 Cut Off
The minimum qualifying marks obtained in INI CET 2025 exam for the General category is set as the 50 percentile. The qualifying mark for the reserved category and EWS and Bhutanese nationals is 45 percentile. As per the previous year’s stats, the cut off rank for MD in Dermatology/ Venereology/ Leprology was 94, and up to 618 marks for MD in Psychiatry. On the other hand, cut off ranks of MS in Orthopedics and Gynaecology were in the range of 81-184.
