The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the Group C post, that is Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operations for various ministries/ Departments/ Officers of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory bodies/ Tribunals, etc.

SSC SSC CHSL 2025

Reservation for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), other backward classes (OBC), Economically weaker sections (EWS), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Persons with disabilities (PwBD) candidates for all the categories of posts/services.

The commission makes the selection of candidates in accordance with the vacancies reported by the indenting departments/ organisations for various posts.

SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Dates

SSC CHSL 2025 Application Process

Desirous candidates have to apply for SSC CHSL online. The candidates are required to apply only as per the procedure mentioned in details below.

How to apply

The process of filling out an online application consists of two parts. The candidates are required to apply online only as per the procedure detailed below.

Part-I: One-time registration
  1. Visit the official website and click on the ‘Register now.’ link.
  2. Add a mobile number and email ID which will be verified through “One time password (OTP).
  3. Fill out all the required information, including basic details, additional details, and contact details.
  4. After filling out all the details, click on ‘Final Submit.’ Different OTPs will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.
  5. After submission of Basic information, if the registration process is not completed within 14 days, the data will be deleted from the system.
Part-II: Fill out the online application form
  1. Log in to the online portal through ‘Registration Number’ and password.
  2. Click the ‘Apply’ link in ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025’.
  3. Information will be filled automatically from the one-time registration data.
  4. Provide all the required details.
  5. Upload the recent photo and signature in JPG format.
  6. Go through the declaration carefully and click on the ‘I Agree’ checkbox.
  7. Pay the application fee.

Application fee

Fee payable: Rs. 100/-

Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net banking, or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay credit or debit card or in cash at SBI branches by generating an SBI challan.

Widow for application form correction

  1. After the closing date for receipt of online applications, the commission will provide a period of 2 days to enable candidates to correct or modify online application parameters, wherein candidates will be allowed to re-submit applications.
  2. The commission will uniform the correction charge or Rs.200/- for making corrections and re-submitting modified/ corrected applications for the first time and Rs. 500/- for making corrections and re-submitting modified/ corrected applications for the second time.

SSC CHSL 2025 Eligibility

Candidates should be aware that they can only appear in the SSC CHSL 2025 entrance exam if they meet the requirements for eligibility. Candidates should carefully review the qualifying requirements before completing the application.

  • The candidates must be citizens of India, Nepal, or Bhutan.
  • Candidates should have checked their age limit for each post, which is listed in the eligibility section.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university or institute with at least 60% marks in mathematics at 12th standard level.

  • Bachelor’s degree in any subject with statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Pattern

The official website of the SSC CHSL 2025 entrance exam conducting authorities specifies the exam pattern. The exam will be conducted in two tiers.

Tier-I examination

This exam will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi, except for English comprehension. There will be 0.50 for each wrong answer.

Duration : 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Tier-II examination

The Tier-2 will be conducted in two sessions, Session-I and Session-II, on the same day. The Session-I will include the conduct of Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-II and Module-I of Section-III. Session-II will include the conduct of Module-II of Section-III.

SSC CHSL 2025 Admit Card

Candidates should have downloaded the hall ticket from the official website. To download the admit card, candidates should have to enter their registered email ID and password that was generated during the registration process.

Candidates have to carry a print copy of the hall ticket along with two passport-size recent colour photographs at the exam centre on the day of the exam.

SSC CHSL 2025 Cut Off

The final allotment of posts is made on the basis of merit-cum-preferences of Posts/ Departments given by the candidates, and once a post is allotted, no change of posts will be made by the Commission due to non-fulfillment of any post specific requirements of physical/ medical/ educational standards.
