Rajasthan PTET Detailed Eligibility 2025

Candidates seeking the latest and detailed eligibility criteria for the Rajasthan PTET exam must meet the requirements set by the conducting authority.

  • For the 2-year B.Ed. course, applicants must have completed graduation or post graduation from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Reserved category candidates are eligible with 45%. Final-year students appearing for their graduation or post graduation can also apply. However, those who have completed their qualifying degree through correspondence are not eligible.
  • For the 4-year Integrated B.Ed. course (BA+B.Ed./ B.Sc+B.Ed.), candidates must have passed the 10+2 (HSC) examination from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate marks. Reserved category candidates can apply with a minimum of 45%. Students appearing for their 10+2 exams can also apply, provided they submit all necessary documents before the final counseling round.

Rajasthan PTET Educational Qualification 2025

The candidates appearing for the Rajasthan PTET 2025 examination can choose to apply for either 2 year B.Ed. course or 4- year B.Ed course. The eligibility criteria for both the courses differ from each other. Required Educational Qualification for both the course are given in the table below:

Those candidates who have completed their degree or qualifications from the corresponding institute or university are not eligible to apply.
4-year B.Ed. (Integrated) Course At least 50% marks in aggregate in the Senior secondary examination 45% aggregate in the case of SC, ST, OBC, MBC, PWD, Widow or Divorcee women candidates of Rajasthan Candidates appearing 10+2 can also apply by submitting relevant documents and certificates before the last date.

Rajasthan PTET 2025 Reservation Policy 

The Rajasthan PTET 2025 reservation policy ensures that candidates from outside Rajasthan who are not bonafide residents will be considered under the General Category. Additionally, only 5% of the total seats across different faculties will be allocated to non-Rajasthan candidates based on merit, provided their merit score is not lower than the last selected general category candidate from Rajasthan.
