CEETA PG 2025 Application Process: Last Date (Feb 28)

The CEETA PG 2025 application form (last date) has been revised to February 28, 2025. The application form was released on January 24, 2025. Candidates can find the link to apply below. The mode of the application form is online. The official notification was announced on January 19, 2025 (on the official website). The CEETA PG exam will be held on March 23, 2025. CEETA 2025, also known as the Common Engineering Entrance Test & Admissions, is conducted by Anna University on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government to offer admissions to postgraduate degrees, such as M.Tech/ M.E/ M.Plan/ M.Arch/MCA/MBA. Candidates meeting the required eligibility criteria can complete the CEETA PG form within the due date.

The application fee for the general category is Rs. 1500/- + GST on the counselling fee of Rs.500/- (For reserved category: Rs.750/- + GST on Counselling fee of Rs.250/-). The CEETA PG aspirants must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. CEETA PG 2025 Application Form Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for CEETA PG must satisfy the required eligibility criteria mentioned by the authorities. The eligibility criteria include age, educational qualifications, and nativity. Here are the required CEETA PG 2025 eligibility criteria for the entrance test -

For M.Tech/M.E/M.Plan/M.Arch

Accepted degree programmes: B.Tech/B.Arch/B.E/B.Pharm. 

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognised institute or university with a minimum qualifying mark of 50% (for general category candidates) and 45% (for reserved category candidates).
• Candidates with a master’s degree in science/arts are also eligible to apply, or candidates who have studied 10+2/10+3 + AMIE and have two years of work experience.
• Candidates qualified as AIIA (Associateship Examination of the Indian Institute of Architects) with a valid registration with the Council of Architecture are also eligible. 

• GATE-qualified candidates can also apply for the examination
• Candidates appearing for the final year/semester of examination can also apply for CEETA PG
• Candidates who have pursued B.Tech in distance or weekend mode are not eligible to apply. 

Steps to fill CEETA PG 2025 Application Form

Step 1: Visit the official website - tancet.annauniv.edu or click on the direct link available on the page

Step 2: Register by entering the following details: name, email ID, mobile number, date of birth, and nativity.

Step 3: Upon successful registration, candidates will receive the login credentials. Login in using the email address and password created. 

Step 4: Fill in Personal details, Education details, Examination details, Upload Candidate's Photo and Signature.

Step 5: Upload required documents, such as a recent passport-size photograph and signature

Document Specifications

• The photograph must be in JPG format of a file size between 25 kb to 50 kb, with height (300 px) and width (200 px)
• The signature must be in JPG format of file size between 10 kb to 15 kb, with height (70 px) and width (200 px)

Step 6: The candidates must confirm and submit all the details entered in the application form. Make the payment through netbanking/credit card/debit card. To know the approval status of your online registration, candidates must log in two to three days after making the payment.

Candidates must upload the following documents while applying for the CEETA PG online application form 2025-

• Class X mark sheet
• Class XII mark sheet or diploma (three-year certificate)
• Qualifying degree certificate 
• Provisional certificate and mark sheets of all semesters or consolidated mark sheet
• Transfer certificate from the previous institute
• Experience certificate (if applicable)
• Permanent community certificate in card format or electronic form if a candidate belongs to BC/BCM/MBC and DNC, SC/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu
• PwD certificate (if applicable)
• Nativity certificate (if applicable)
• Copy of identification certificate obtained from the Head Quarters Tahsildar or Visa, Passport and letter registered in a police station (for Srilakan Refugee candidates)

CEETA PG Application Form Correction 2025

Anna University, Chennai, does not offer an application form correction facility. Therefore, candidates must fill in the details carefully to avoid disqualification from enrollment.

CEETA PG Exam Centres 2025

While applying for the CEETA PG 2025 form, candidates must provide their choice of exam centres. The exam is conducted in several cities, which are as follows -

The authorities will provide an exam centre based on the candidate’s choice. However, there are chances to get another examination centre due to the non-availability of space. In such a case, the exam centre, once allotted, cannot be changed for any reason.
