Indian Institute of Science Bangalore (IISc Bangalore) has revised GATE COAP 2025 Registration dates for M.Tech admission in IITs, NITs, and recruitment in PSUs. The admission is done based on the score secured in the GATE exam.
As per the previous schedule, GATE COAP 2025 round 1 registration date is May 13, 2025. But the date has now been deferred by a day. Candidates who have qualified GATE 2025, 2024, and 2023 are eligible to apply for COAP MTech admission and PSU jobs.
IIT Bombay, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Indore, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IISc Bengaluru, IIT Bhilai, IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT BHU, IIT Dharwad are among the participating institutions that offer admission based on GATE rank.
There will be a total of three options such as “accept and freeze”, “retain and wait”, or “reject” in GATE COAP rounds 1 to 4. Candidates can opt for “retain and wait” only twice for the same offer. GATE COAP 2025 Registration link will be released at the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in/coap2025/.
“Rounds 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are treated as independent Decisive Rounds, where candidates only have “Accept and Freeze” or “Reject” options,” it said. An additional round 10 will be held for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) choosing to continue the counselling process beyond the ninth round.

IIT Roorkee has announced GATE Result 2025 on March 19, 2025 at the official website. The revised GATE COAP Schedule has been updated in the table below. Candidates who will be allotted seats through GATE COAP counselling need to make a decision on the offer between 10 AM to 6 PM on the scheduled date.
