JEE Main 2025 Result Session 2 Update: NTA will declare the JEE Main Session 2 Result on April 17, 2025. Before the result declaration, NTA responds to the recent controversy on the answer key, where experts and students flagged 9 errors.
Through a series of updates on X on April 15, NTA claimed that it follows a fair and transparent examination procedure. To address the controversy, the agency further clarified that candidates should wait for the JEE Main 2025 Final Answer Key. The score will be determined by the final answer key. So, controversy based on the provisional answer key is not desirable.
NTA issued the JEE Main 2025 Answer Key on April 11, 2025. Since its release, students and experts from leading coaching institutes have identified 9 errors. Among these, 2 are from Mathematics, 3 from Chemistry, and 4 from Physics. As per the experts, these types of basic mistakes in the national-level exam are unacceptable.

Once the result is out, candidates can access the result from the official website. Websites such as nta.ac.in, jeemain.nta.nic.in, examinationservices.com will host JEE Main 2025 result. Following the steps below, candidates can access the result.
- Candidates should visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Next, candidates should click on the ‘JEE Main Session 2 Result 2025 Link’.
- After that, candidates are required to enter their application number and password.
- Upon submitting, JEE Main 2025 Session 2 result will be displayed on the screen

As per the experts, this year, JEE Main 2025 cutoff may increase for the general category candidates who wish to appear in JEE Advanced 2025. The cutoff for the general category may increase up to 92.19 percent. Last year, the JEE Main cutoff was 90.77%.
