KEA KCET 2025 Update: Kannada Language Exam (Over), Engineering Exams (16 & 17 April), Dress Code for Male & Female

KEA has successfully concluded the KCET 2025 Kannada language exam, today at 11.30 AM. Candidates from Gadinadu and Horanadu regions appeared in the test. Karnataka Examination Authority will administer the KCET 2025 (Engineering) Shift 1 exam starting tomorrow, April 16, 2025. The exam will be concluded on April 17, 2025. Physics and Chemistry exams will be conducted on April 16, while Mathematics and Biology are scheduled for April 17. Candidates appearing for the exam tomorrow must follow the KCET Dress Code.

Candidates appearing for the exam must bring the KCET 2025 Admit Card to the exam hall along with other valid ID proof. However, mobile phones and digital watches are prohibited at the KCET 2025 Exam centers.

KCET 2025 Dress Code

KCET 2025 Dress code measurements are not new for the aspirants. These were introduced back in 2023. KCET 2025 guidelines are very similar to NEET 2025 guidelines. As per the guidelines, any stationery items or electronic items are not allowed inside the exam hall. More details on the male and female dress code will be provided below:

KEA Exam Dress Code for Female

There are a few measurements that candidates need to follow to appear in the KCET 2025 or the KCET Entrance examination. However, the authority did not specify any particular measurement of the female dress code. For detailed information on the female dress code, candidates can refer to the section below:

Considering the weather, female aspirants should wear light-coloured dresses (preferably cotton).
Female aspirants should opt for decent clothes. Avoid wearing any fancy clothes.
Metal Jewelry is prohibited at the exam hall (except Mangalsutra and Toe Ring). Candidates are requested to avoid wearing heavy metal jewelry or accessories.
For footwear, female candidates should opt for slippers or any low-heel sandals or shoes.
Any kind of electronic gadgets is also prohibited at KCET 2025 exam centers.

KEA KCET 2025 Dress Code for Male

Besides female aspirants, there are a few measurements that male aspirants also need to follow for the KCET 2025 Exams. The key details on the Male dress code for KCET 2025 have been shared below:

As per KCET 2025 guidelines male candidates should avoid wearing any electronic wearables like bluetooth earphones, digital watch etc.
Male candidates should also wear comfortable and decent clothes for hassle-free frisking.
At the same time, male candidates are advised not to wear any shoesduring exams. If any candidate need to wear special kind of footwear for medical condition, he needs to get special permission.
Male candidates wearing customary items, such as a turban and topi, must report 2 hours early.

To avoid unfair practices, KEA will use CCTV surveillance and webcasting in all the exam centers.
Facial Recognition system will be also installed in all the KCET 2025 Exam centres.
For security purposes homeguard and police personnel will be deployed in every test centres.
