SRMJEEE 2025 Phase 1 Slot 2 exam ended at 4:30 PM. The Slot 1 exam of SRMJEEE 2025 was conducted from 10 am to 12:30 pm today, on April 22, 2025. The two slots of the Phase I exam is being conducted in a remote proctored test mode. Test takers took the SRMJEEE 2025 exam from the comfort of their homes. SRMJEEE 2025 Slot 1 Exam Analysis

The Shift I of SRMJEEE 2025 Exam took place on April 22, 2025 from 10 am to 12:30 pm. The exam was held in a remotely proctored mode from the comfort of home. As per students feedback, the difficulty level of the exam was considered to be within moderate to difficult level. As the exam was held in a remote proctored mode, it was completed smoothly without any issues. However, the invigilation was strict. Talking about difficulty level of subjects- 

  • Mathematics was considered to be moderately difficult.
  • Whereas Chemistry, Physics, English, and Aptitude were easy in terms of difficulty level. 

SRMJEEE 2025 Slot 1 Question Types Analysis

From the feedback of a few candidates taken, following analysis was considered on the type of questions asked in the exam. They are as given below- 

  • The questions were asked from the SRMJEEE 2025 syllabus published and were of Class 11 and 12 level.
  • Most of the questions asked were direct and formula based.
  • However, some of the questions were tricky.
  • A few mathematics questions were lengthy and time-consuming
  • Questions from Chemistry were easy and direct, whereas Physics questions were numerical and theory based

SRMJEEE 2025 Remote Proctored Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must follow the official guidelines while taking the SRMJEEE remote proctored test. These steps are important to ensure the exam is conducted smoothly without any violations.

  • Use the login details (username and password) given in the admit card to access the exam.
  • The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours).
  • Login at least 60 minutes before the scheduled time.
  • Candidates will need to take a photo of yourself and their ID proof before the exam begins.
  • Test takers must also read all the instructions before the exam starts.
  • Once the exam begins, participants cannot end or quit the exam before the full 120 minutes.
  • Only one question will appear at a time on the screen.
  • Candidates must answer or skip the question before moving to the next one.
  • Candidates cannot return to the previous questions after skipping or answering them.
  • The "Submit Exam" button will appear only after 90 minutes have passed.
  • To exit the exam, candidates need to enter the "Quit Password."
  • This password is given in the Instruction Manual.
  • The exam will end automatically once the 120 minutes are over.

SRMJEEE 2025 Do’s and Don’ts for the Remote Proctored Test

To maintain the integrity of the online exam, SRMIST has set strict rules. Candidates must follow the Do’s and avoid the Don’ts mentioned below during the test. Failure to do so may result in unwanted consequences. Check out the following points for Do’s and Don’ts for the remote proctored SRMJEEE 2025 Test. 

Do’s:

  • Sit in a well-lit room with no one else present.
  • Stay seated and face the screen throughout the exam.
  • Keep your ID proof ready before the exam starts.
  • Keep your water bottle nearby if needed.

Don’ts:

  • Do not leave your seat during the exam. No bio breaks are allowed.
  • Do not look away from the screen.
  • Do not keep mobile phones, digital watches, or any electronic gadgets nearby.
  • Do not wear sunglasses, headphones, or caps.
  • Do not allow anyone else in the room during the exam.
  • Do not talk to anyone or seek help during the exam.
  • Do not keep notes, rough paper, or any study material with you.
  • Do not access any other websites or screens.
  • Do not login from more than one device.
  • Do not use Google or any external help.
  • Do not read the questions aloud or move your lips.
  • Do not cover your face with your hand, hair, or anything else.
  • Do not allow background sounds like music, TV, or voices.
  • Do not eat or drink anything except water during the exam.
