NMIMS Indore: Admissions 2026, Courses, Fees, and Placements

SVKM's NMIMS Indore (Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Indore) is a campus of NMIMS, a deemed-to-be university established under Section 3 of the UGC Act. The Indore campus was established in 2017 and is located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It operates under the NMIMS University framework and offers programmes across management, commerce, technology, law and pharmacy.

As per NIRF 2025, the parent NMIMS University is ranked #24 in the Management category in India. This is a university-level ranking and should not be treated as an independent NIRF ranking for the Indore campus. In the EducationWorld India Higher Education Rankings 2026-27, the School of Business Management at NMIMS Indore is ranked #42 among private B-schools.

The NMIMS Indore campus spans 25 acres and houses five schools: the School of Business Management, School of Technology Management & Engineering, School of Commerce, School of Law, and School of Pharmacy & Technology Management.

NMIMS Indore offers programmes across management, technology, commerce, law and pharmacy:

The NMIMS Indore MBA fees are INR 9.5 lakh per year based on the latest published 2025-26 fee reference, taking the two-year academic fee to INR 19 lakh. NMIMS states that the 2026-27 MBA fee will be communicated in the admission offer letter. The NMIMS Indore BBA fees were INR 2.75 lakh per year for the 2025 batch.

NMIMS Indore publishes placement data separately for different schools and programmes. Therefore, there is no single NMIMS Indore average package applicable to all courses. The official School of Commerce placement report for the 2025 BBA/B.Com (Hons.) batch reported an average package of INR 3.3 LPA and a highest package of INR 4.5 LPA. MBA placement figures are reported separately by the School of Business Management.

For MBA admission, NMIMS requires a minimum 50% aggregate in a bachelor's degree and uses NMAT by GMAC as the entrance route. The institute does not publish a fixed official NMAT cutoff on its current MBA programme page, so third-party expected scores should not be presented as the official NMIMS Indore cutoff.

NMIMS Indore Admission 2026

Admission at NMIMS Indore is programme-specific, with different entrance routes used for management, commerce, technology, law and pharmacy programmes. The official 2026 admissions page lists MBA under the School of Business Management and separate 2026 admission routes for BBA, B.Com, B.Tech and other programmes.

For the MBA, the current programme page specifies a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks and NMAT by GMAC as the entrance route.

NMIMS Indore Courses and Fees

NMIMS Indore courses are divided across five schools, and the latest published fee depends on the course and admission year. The official 2026 UG admission handout provides 2025 fees for information and states that fees for the 2026 batch will be communicated at the time of admission.

NMIMS Indore Placements

Placement data at NMIMS Indore is published separately by school and programme, so there is no single campus-wide average package. The official placement page currently lists separate reports for the School of Technology Management & Engineering, School of Commerce and School of Law, along with reports for earlier years.

For the School of Commerce, the official placement brochure for the BBA/B.Com (Hons.) Class of 2025 reported a highest package of INR 4.5 LPA and average package of INR 3.3 LPA.

For the School of Business Management, the current programme page links the MBA Placement & Summer Internship Report for the 2024-26 batch. The report should be used as the primary source for the latest MBA placement figures rather than combining figures from different years or third-party portals.

An earlier official MBA final placement report for the 2021-23 batch recorded a highest CTC of INR 16.8 LPA, average CTC of INR 12.5 LPA and median CTC of INR 12.4 LPA. These figures are historical and should not be presented as current MBA placements.

The table keeps the years visible because placement outcomes can change substantially between batches.

NMIMS Indore Ranking 2026

NMIMS Indore should be assessed using campus-level rankings separately from rankings awarded to the parent NMIMS University. The NIRF ranking of the parent university should not be presented as an independent NIRF ranking for the Indore campus.

The #24 NIRF Management position refers to NMIMS at the university level. It does not mean that the Indore campus itself has an independent NIRF rank of #24.

The NMIMS Indore campus is located off Super Corridor, Bada Bangarda, Tehsil Hatod, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It houses the School of Business Management, School of Commerce, School of Technology Management & Engineering, School of Law, and School of Pharmacy and Technology Management.

It also provides a Bloomberg Lab, reading hall, discussion rooms, Wi-Fi, digital resources and online databases.

The hostel is described by NMIMS as a fully air-conditioned facility with an in-house mess, along with indoor sports and recreational facilities. Hostel accommodation is allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. For students at the Indore campus, hostel accommodation is compulsory except for students who are residents of Indore, according to the 2026 admission document.

Separate gyms are available in the boys' and girls' hostels, with professional trainers.The infrastructure also includes specialised technology facilities such as 3D printing, AR/VR, robotics, telecommunications and research laboratories.

Is NMIMS Indore Good?

NMIMS Indore can be assessed through its programme structure, fees, admission requirements, rankings and school-specific placement reports rather than a general Tier classification.

For MBA applicants, the latest published fee reference is INR 9.5 lakh per year for 2025-26, while admission requires a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks and NMAT-based selection.

For BBA applicants, the latest published reference fee is INR 2.75 lakh per year for 2025, while the current programme page lists a 4-year NEP curriculum.

Placement outcomes should be assessed by programme. For example, the official 2025 School of Commerce report gives an average package of INR 3.3 LPA for BBA/B.Com (Hons.), while older MBA placement data show different outcomes for management students.

NMIMS Indore Tier 1 or Tier 2?

Tier 1 and Tier 2 are informal classifications and are not official categories used by NMIMS or NIRF. NMIMS Indore does not publish a formal Tier 1 or Tier 2 classification.

Students comparing management institutes can instead consider the relevant programme's fees, admission requirements, placement report, ranking and curriculum.
