Adamas University Scholarship
At Adamas University offer two types to support students in their academic journey:
- Merit Scholarship: Exceptional students who achieve a CGPA of more than 8.5 are eligible for this scholarship. It provides financial aid of INR 25,000/- to INR 10,000/-. This scholarship is awarded from the second to the last semester based on the student's performance in the previous semester.
- Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: Students with a CGPA above 6.5 or 60% and a family income not exceeding INR 3 Lakhs can apply for the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship. This scholarship offers a 5% full studentship and a 10% half free studentship. It is granted based on the marks obtained in entrance exams and each semester's academic performance.

Scholarship Opportunities at Adamas University
Scholarship for Wards of Adamas University/RICE Employees:
Up to 20% of the 1st Semester Fee (up to a maximum of Rs. 25,000) for the first child. If the first child already has a merit-based scholarship, the benefit can be passed on to the second child, if applicable. The employee should have served for at least 5 years.
Scholarship for Siblings of Adamas University Students:
Up to 10% of the Semester Fee (up to a maximum of Rs. 5,000 per semester for the entire program duration) for siblings (brother/sister) of a student already enrolled in any program (except B.Pharm) at Adamas University. Only one sibling is eligible for the scholarship.
Scholarship for Alumni of Adamas Educational Institutions:
Alumni of any Adamas Educational Institution (Schools or University) are eligible for a 50% scholarship on the 1st Semester Fee during admission to programs at Adamas University.
Scholarship for Wards of Defense Personnel:
Up to 10% of the Semester Fee (up to a maximum of Rs. 5,000 per semester for the entire program duration) for candidates who are children of Personnel (In-Service/Retired) or Para-Military Forces (In-Service/Retired) in all UG & PG Programs.
Scholarship for Outstanding Achievers in Sports:
100% Semester Fee, including Admission Fee, for outstanding sports achievers. Candidates need to provide proof of their participation and performance. The Sports Committee, under the Director-Sports, will make the final decision regarding the scholarship.
Scholarship for Wards of Sports Achievers:
100% Semester Fee, including Admission Fee, for the children of outstanding sports achievers. Candidates need to provide proof of their parent's participation and performance in high-level sports competitions. The Sports Committee, under the Director-Sports, will decide on the scholarship.
Merit Cum Means Scholarship:
Students scoring 60% or above or CGPA 6.5 and above, with a family income not exceeding Rs. 3.0 Lakh per semester, may apply for free studentship to receive a tuition fee concession. The number of full and half free studentships for a course is limited. Selection is based on merit.
Adamas University Scholarship Merit:
Scholarships are awarded program-wise to meritorious students based on their performance in each semester. Awards start from the second semester and continue until the last semester. The number and amount of scholarships may vary based on the batch size and performance. Please note that scholarship availability and criteria may change over time at the discretion of the university's management.
Adamas University Scholarship Procedure for Granting
The Merit Scholarships will be automatically awarded upon the declaration of results by the Controller of Examinations. Notification letters confirming the scholarships will be issued to all eligible recipients by the Registrar, subject to the approval of the Vice Chancellor and Chancellor, after the results are declared.
Adamas University Scholarship General Conditions
The maximum number of scholarships awarded is as follows:
- Top three for a batch with 41 students or more.
- Top two for a batch with 21 to 40 students.
- Top one for a batch with 1 to 20 students.
In cases where multiple students achieve the same rank or position (i.e., the same percentage/marks/SGPA), the scholarship amount will be equally divided among all students sharing that rank.
Adamas University Scholarship Scenario 1:
If three students achieve the same marks and secure the 1st position, the scholarship amount designated for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions will be combined and evenly distributed among the three students. No separate 2nd and 3rd positions will be awarded.
Adamas University Scholarship Scenario 2:
If two students secure the 1st position and one student secures the 2nd position, the average of the scholarship amount designated for the 1st and 2nd positions will be divided between the two students, and the next student will be considered as the 3rd position. This approach ensures fair distribution among candidates with the same rank.
Please Note:
- The scholarship amount may vary based on the batch size of a specific program.
- Students failing to meet the required attendance percentage in classes will not be eligible for any scholarship.
- Students with documented disciplinary violations will not be eligible for any scholarship.
- Students with backlogs in any paper during any semester will not be eligible for any scholarship.
- The number of students in a program considered for scholarships under different categories will be based on the number of students initially registered at the start of the year.
- If a student qualifies for more than one scholarship or concession, they must choose only one.
- If a student chooses to decline the Merit Scholarship, it will not be transferred to the next student in line.
Additional Notes:
Each candidate can avail a maximum of one scholarship at a time. Scholarships for students in all categories are limited to a maximum of 10% of the sanctioned intake for the respective admission program, excluding scholarships for girls, sports achievers, and wards of sports achievers. Candidates enrolled in Ph.D. Programs are not eligible for the scholarships mentioned above.
