Amity University Ranchi: Scholarships 2025 – Eligibility, Application & Amount

The scholarships at Amity University Ranchi provide quality education to the deserving students through various scholarship programs. This scholarship will be provided to students based on merit and financially needy, and other scholarships will consider military service or other special conditions. In this way, Amity University Ranchi provides financial aid on a large scale so that the students need not worry about finance and are able to pursue their study and self-growth properly. Scholarship programs are available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and the range of criteria covered includes merit-based, need-based, and special category scholarships.

Scholarship-cum-Fast Track Admission

For 12th passout candidates

They are provided with the facility of fast track admissions with zero selection process as such by Amity University if one has performed exceedingly well at class XII, or merit-based scholarships from Amity University.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 100% Scholarship: 93% aggregate and above in CBSE/ISC/State Boards of Class XII (2024, 2023)
• 50% Scholarship: 88% to 92.99% in CBSE/ISC/State Boards of Class XII (2024, 2023)
• 25% Scholarship: 70% to 87.99% in CBSE/ISC/State Boards of Class XII (2024, 2023)

For B.Tech Programs, Based on JEE 2024 Score

• 100% Scholarship: 97-100 percentile in JEE Main
• 75% Scholarship: 94-96.9 percentile in JEE Main
• 50% Scholarship: 90-93.9 percentile in JEE Main

Notes:

• Aggregate percentage shall be computed on marks gained in English & three academic subjects-compulsory subjects of eligibility, except Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or any Vocational/Non-written subjects. Such subjects shall be counted only for their /select programmes only.
• Students are required to pay the full fees at the outset. The excess amount that accrues due to scholarship will be adjusted against payment for Semester-II.

Scholarships for After Graduation

Scholarships for postgraduate programs are granted based on verification of original documents after joining the program.

Continuation of Scholarship:

• Scholarship shall be offered annually for the first year, and in subsequent years, continuation of scholarship would be subject to the Scholarship Policy.
• There should not be a gap year between Class XII and Graduation.
• The aggregate percentage of class XII would be worked out on the best four academic subjects that are English +3 Academic subjects except Physical Education / Fine Arts/ Performing Arts/ Vocational /non-written subjects.
• Those eligible candidates shall contact the Admission office within one week of selection after producing the original marksheets for the granting of Scholarship latest by 31st October of the year in which admission is being sought.

Martyr's Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to the wards of deceased soldiers in recognition of their services to the nation.

Criteria for Scholarship:

• Scholarship 100% : 93 % aggregate and above in CBSE / ISC / State Boards of Class 12th and 80% in Graduation.
• 50% Scholarship: 88% aggregate and above with CBSE / ISC / All Recognized State Boards of Class XII and above 75% at graduation level.
• 25% Scholarship for MBA program: CAT 75 percentile & above/ MAT score 500 & above/ GMAT 500 & above.

Additional Criteria:

• Any qualifying act leading to the attainment of martyrdom by the deceased should be in line of duty.
• The applicant should provide documentary evidence to justify the scholarship for his application.
• This will be provided to the wards of martyrs after clearing the admission procedure and admitting them into a program of study.
• These orders are applicable to wards of personnel from the Army, Special Frontier Force, ITBP, Navy, Indian Coast Guard, CISF, Air Force, CRPF, SSB, Assam Rifles, BSF, and the State Police.

Continuation of Scholarship:

• It is issued annually for the first year. Continuation for the second and subsequent years is pursuant to the guidelines/scholarship policy of the martyr.
• Tuition fees are to be paid in full at the time of admission. The award amount will be deducted in the payment for the subsequent semester.

Amity Alumni Advantage

Amity alumni who wants to continue their higher education at Amity University Ranchi Campus are eligible for a 10% fee concession.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicable for passouts of 2022, 2023, and 2024.

CUET Scholarships

Amity University Ranchi providescholarships based on the CUET percentile score:

Eligibility Criteria:

• 100% Scholarship: 95 percentile and above (with direct admission)
• 50% Scholarship: 90 - 94.99 percentile (with direct admission)
• 25% Scholarship: 80 - 89.99 percentile (with direct admission)
• 20% Scholarship: 75 - 79.99 percentile

Additional Notes:

• 100% Scholarship is not available for all the Bachelor programs of Psychology & B.Tech CSE.
• Scholarships are not there for the B. Pharm course.
• There are a few scholarship seats. These come on a first come first served basis.
• Scholarship: These scholarships are renewed every year and for subsequent years, it is available in accordance with the scholarship policy of AUUP, Noida.

Important Scholarship Notes

1. The students can not have a combination of scholarships and concessions. The student may avail only one type of scholarship/concession whichever is higher.
2. Applications incomplete or without relevant certificates / documents would not be entertained.
3. No scholarship is provided for PhD programs.
4. No refundable security deposit shall be recovered as part of the scholarship.
5. Students are required to pay the full fees initially for all categories of scholarship. The excess amount accruing due to the scholarship shall be adjusted against payment for Semester-II.
6. The scholarship awards are made only upon approval by the Scholarship Committee.
7. Limited scholarship seats exist and are awarded on the basis of first-come-first-serve.
8. No scholarship requests for any program UG & PG will be entertained. Scholarship for UG programmes The last date for the submission of application forms 31st October 2024 For PG programs scholarship will be granted after joining the program on verification of documents. Fast Track/ Direct Admission is not available for Post Graduate programs other than Amity Alumni.
9. Direct Admission to PG Programs: Amity University Jharkhand allows direct admission of its graduates to all the Master's programs, on merit basis, subject to eligibility criteria for the particular program, applicable for the passouts of 2022, 2023, and 2024.
