Auro University Surat also includes intakes of students by considering merit in the relevant qualification and valid entrance exam scores like XAT , Gujarat ACPC. In the year of 2023, The University has declared the final selection list for all the categories based on marks in relevant qualification for all the branches. The Cut Off marks/ranks is very crucial for the students which decides the admission of the students in the University. 

The University has made a criteria of minimum  cut off  of  90 Percentile for various courses of PG program for categories like General based on XAT score in the year of 2023.it has announced its first round for admission in the University. The cutoff was decided by the University for the various courses and Specialization of the Postgraduate program like MBA. 

Also, Auro University has made a criteria of minimum  cut off  of 12417 Rank for various courses of PG program for the categories like TFWS based on Gujarat ACPC score in the year of 2023.it has announced its 1st round Cut off for admission in the college. The cutoff was decided by the college for the various courses of the PG program like MBA.

Factors Affecting Cut off  

The Main key factors affecting cut off includes various stages such as:

• Number of Applicants: the more the number of peoples apply for the entrance exam the more will be the cut off
• Exam difficulty : the difficulty of exam decides the merit candidates in the college
• Seat availability: based on seats available in the university the cut off will be decided according to the seat availability.
• Reservation policy: the cutoff includes the reservation policies for the admission of college. The cut off for reservation candidates will be less than unreserved candidates.

The University also allows students who have reservations. The cut off for the reservation candidates will be less compared to unreserved candidates. The college allows several reservations such as:

• SC/ST/Pwd reservation
• OBC-NCL,EWS reservation
• Sports Quota

The Cut off can be viewed through the official website of the University.The University allows students based on merit in qualifying exams and entrance exams. The process to check the cut off is:

• Go to the official website of the University
• Go to  notifications/ results section
• Then check the cutoff document released 

Counseling Process: 

Applicants should participate in the counseling process to get admission in the university. The Applicants need to register at the official website. Based on the marks entered/obtained in relevant qualification/entrance exams by the candidates/applicants will be called to future counseling rounds. The counseling process of the university includes:

• Registration at official  counseling portal respectively
• Filling of University Preferences 
• Declaration of results based on filled preferences
• Verification of details of the applicants
• Final admission in the Institute

Important Dates:

Auro University releases the important dates related to admission. The University's admission will be from June to August. So, the candidates should adhere to the important dates of the University and stay updated to the notification released by the institute. 

• The admission window will be open in the month of mid June.
• The admission window will close in the month of August.
• The application window for CAT will start from August to October.
• CAT Exam will be held in the month of November.
