BIMT-Scholarships Overview
BIMTECH presents a multitude of scholarships to students who have demonstrated exemplary performance in their respective fields. These scholarships range between INR 2,00,000 to INR 21,00,000, based on different eligibility criteria. Students who excel in their entrance examinations, show outstanding academic performance during their program, or submit exceptional thesis work are eligible to apply. Some scholarships are specifically designed for female candidates, thus promoting gender equality in education. BIMTECH also provides 10 scholarships, each amounting to INR 2,00,000, to students admitted under the Supernumerary category from SAAC countries.
BIMT-Scholarships for Entrance Exam High Scorers
This scholarship category is designed for students who have scored at least 85% in CAT/XAT/GMAT examinations. The scholarship amount is based on the student's percentile and is applicable to all admitted students, irrespective of the program they have chosen.

BIMT-Scholarships for Academic Excellence
BIMTECH awards the Late G.D Birla Academic Merit Scholarship to students who secure the first two positions as per their TGPA, across all courses in each term (up to the 4th term). However, students must clear their exam in a single attempt to be eligible for this scholarship.

BIMT-Scholarships for Doctoral Candidates
The Jagdish N Sheth Award for Best PhD Thesis at BIMTECH offers a scholarship of INR 50,000 to doctorate students based on the evaluation of their thesis submitted during the academic year. In addition, BIMTECH also offers the Late Sarala Birla Award to female doctoral students from developing countries, granting them a scholarship of INR 1,00,000 per year for three consecutive years.
BIMT-Scholarships for Female Top Achievers
The Madam Madhuri J Sheth Award for BIMTECH Female Toppers is designed specifically for female students of the PGDM and PGDM-IB programmes. The total scholarship value is INR 50,000, divided between the top two female performers in each batch, granting them INR 25,000 each.
BIMT-Scholarships for Meritorious Students
Under the Gold Medals & Special Medals scholarship, BIMTECH grants medals to students who have exhibited outstanding academic performance. The top performer of each course receives a Gold Medal, and the top performers in overall performance (one male and one female student) also receive Gold Medals. Additionally, students of PGDM & PGDM (IB) courses who secure the top position in each specialization area, including HR, Operations, Marketing & Finance, based on results from the 3rd to 6th term, are awarded special (silver) medals.
BIMT-Scholarships for COVID-19 Affected Students
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, BIMTECH offers scholarships to students who have been financially affected. This scholarship aids students by funding a portion of the tuition fee for the 2-year course duration.
