The Central University of Haryana is one of the fifteen new Central Universities established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, during the XI Five Year Plan (2007-2012) under the Central University Act of 2009. In August 2023, the University received an 'A' Grade in its second cycle of accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Furthermore, it has been recognized among the top 150-200 universities in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The University is fully funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and operates from its permanent campus, which spans 484 acres in the Jant-Pali villages of Mahendergarh district, Haryana. Currently, the Central University of Haryana offers a total of 86 academic programs across undergraduate, postgraduate, and research levels.

Admissions to the majority of undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the Central University of Haryana (CUH) are based on entrance examinations. The university provides a diverse range of courses across disciplines such as Engineering, Arts, Science, and Commerce. Most candidates are admitted to these programs based on their scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). CUH is recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Step 1: Application Process. Applicants for admission to courses have to submit the application form online through the official portal of the university. The students had to take the entrance examination conducted by testing agencies.

Step 2: Selection Criteria

Central University of Haryana admissions are solely through entrance examination performance. The university admits students on the basis of different national and university-level entrance examinations, viz. CUET UG, CUET PG, JEE Mains, etc., designed for certain courses. Individuals with valid scores in these tests will be called for the following counselling process.

Step 3: Final Seat Allotment
