About CDLU

Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana, was founded in 2003 with a mission to offer excellent education and ensure academic excellence in the area. The university is named after Chaudhary Devi Lal, who served as India's former Deputy Prime Minister. The institution has been growing progressively over time. Currently, it provides more than 48 courses in ten streams like Management, Engineering, Commerce, Law, Science, Journalism & Mass Communication, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education.

CDLU has a 'B' grade accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Chaudhary Devi Lal University has a wide range of popular programs available at the UG, PG, and PhD levels. These include subjects such as Arts, Science, Commerce, IT, and Management. CDLU placement data for 2024 or 2023 has not yet been available. However, the NIRF report for 2022 has been released. According to the report, three undergraduate (3-year) and two graduate (2-year) students were placed at the 2021 CDLU placements. The average package offered to UG (3-year) and PG (2-year) students at Chaudhary Devi Lal University placements 2021 was INR 1.20 LPA and INR 3.24 LPA, respectively.

CDLU Scholarships

Chaudhary Devi Lal University provides merit-based scholarships to students, specifically the Haryana State Merit Scholarship, which is granted by the Haryana government.
