Mahendra Nath Bhattacharyya and Jaya Bhattacharyya Memorial Scholarship:

Two one-time scholarships of Rs. 10,000 are given annually to one male student and one female student belonging to families having an annual income lower than 1 Lakh. This scholarship is sponsored by Dr. Indra Kumar Bhattacharyya the former principal and alumni of the erstwhile Cotton College, Guwahati.

Tanushree Hazarika Memorial Fellowship:

This scholarship is sponsored by Mr. Prabir Hazarika were three meritorious female students among hostel boarders of the University with an annual family income less than or equal to Rs. 50,000/- receive Rs. 2 thousand per month until the three academic years of undergraduate program at Cotton University.

Micro Research Fellowship:

This Research Fellowship is given to selected meritorious regular UG 6th semester & PG 4th semester students of Cotton University, who are interested in carrying out research work on a chosen theme. All the students selected for the scholarship will be given an amount of Rs. 3,000/- to conduct an original research and present the outcome in the form of paper/report/findings.

Scholarship for Economically Weaker Students of Cotton University:

One Hundred Fifty (150 nos.) scholarships are given by the university to the Economically Weaker Students of Cotton University every year. One-time amount of Rs. 2000/- is given to selected students belonging to the families having annual income less than Rs. 5,00,000/- and having good academic performance.
