Delhi Technological University provides merit scholarships for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority category students who are studying in professional/ho are interested in availing of the scholarship on merit-cum-means basis; students can submit their applications on the official site.

Per the government of India's directions, all applicants must get their bank account details and AADHAR-linked direct benefit for transfer (DBT) of scholarship.

Procedure to apply for the DTU Scholarship;

The students from the SC/ST/OBC/ Minorities category who wish to apply for various scholarship schemes offered by Govt. the of India and different states, including the NCT of Delhi, are advised to visit the respective website portal.

  • Students may apply online or physically, as the case may be.
  • Students are advised to ensure their eligibility for the scholarship before applying and attach self-attested copies of the required certificate and documents along with the completed application in the format specified by the concerned ministry and state or apply online as the case may be.

Required documents for SC/ST/OBC/ Minorities students while filling out the scholarship form;

  1. Application in prescribed proforma
  2. Online generated application
  3. Caste certificates
  4. Income certificate issued by Distt. Revenue Authority
  5. Mark sheet of 12th for the 1st year students only.
  6. First-year students have to submit a JEE Rank Card.
  7. Mark sheets of previous semesters.
  8. If involved in any disciplinary case. If yes, details of the case (copy of the order)
  9. Death certificate of parent ( if applicable)
  10. Canceled cheque ( account must be in the name of a student only)
  11. Aadhar card
  12. Fee receipt for year of claim
  13. Original bills for books, computers, etc.
  14. Original bills for boarding lodging, rent receipt, hostel charges

All SC/ST/OBC/ Minorities students who have applied for different scholarship schemes online must submit their application to the academic UG section as per the procedure mentioned above. Visit the section and bring one set of self-attested copies of all documents and original documents for cross-verification.
