PUMBA, (Savitribai Phule Pune University's Department of Management Sciences), founded in 1971, is one of India's first management schools located in Pune, Maharashtra. The institute offers BBA, MBA, executive MBA and PhD courses. The institute accepts scores from national-level entrance exams such as MHT-CET, CAT, ATMA and CMAT for admission to its MBA programs.
The basic eligibility for admission to the courses is 50% aggregate in graduation. The institute is recognized by UGC and is accredited grade ‘A’ by NAAC. For the placement drive of 2024, the highest package stood at INR 19 LPA.

| How to Reach | fly to Pune Airport (IXP), which is about 12 km from SPPU, and then take a taxi or auto-rickshaw to the university. Pune Central railway station is nearly 6 km from SPPU, then take an auto or cab to the campus. |

PUMBA Courses 2025
PUMBA offers BBA , MBA, Executive MBA and PhD. courses. Admission to the courses are based on the marks scored in exams like MHT-CET, CAT, ATMA and CMAT for MBA and PET, UGC- NET, GATE, GPAT for PhD.. The basic eligibility criteria is 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 and UG for admission to the UG and PG courses respectively and for the PhD. course is post graduation or M.Phil. PUMBA Admission 2025
Admission to UG, PG, and PhD. courses at PUMBA is through online mode. The admission for the PG courses is entrance- based i.e, it depends upon score secured in MHT-CET, CAT, ATMA and CMAT exams .
Selection at PUMBA
Based on the scores secured in the qualifying exams i.e, 10+2 for UG admission and graduation for PG admission, a merit list is being prepared for each course.
Those students who qualify the merit list are called for admission. For the PhD. admission, a PI round is being conducted after the entrance exam.
Final selection At PUMBA
The final selected candidates are asked to submit the original documents and admission fees.
