DMS IIT Delhi MBA Admission 2025

DMS IIT Delhi MBA General program has a balanced course structure that consists of core courses, electives, specializations, and a major project.

The areas covered are Financial Management, Strategic Management, and Business Research Methods, which helps in creating a strong base in business principles. 

Moreover, elements in electives in Marketing, Operations and HR Management allow students the flexibility of customizing the courses to their preferences.

Shortlisting starts with the selection of candidates on the basis of CAT score, academic performance, and work experience. The minimum CAT score for different groups is different. General – 89.31, OBC – 67.48, EWS – 76.7, SC – 46.11, ST – 32.31, PwD – 24.2. 

The shortlisted candidates must appear for a Personal Interview (PI) at IIT Delhi, where they will be assessed on communication skills, subject knowledge, and leadership skills.

DMS IIT Delhi MBA (Telecommunication Systems Management)

The MBA in Telecommunication Systems Management at DMS IIT Delhi is a specialized course carefully crafted for working professionals who wish to succeed in the telecom industry. Under the core course, students learn telecom systems, planning, international telecom management, and core business subjects. 

The electives provide an opportunity for students to learn specialized subjects that combine telecom and management. DMS IIT Delhi Executive MBA Admission 2025

The DMS IIT Delhi Executive MBA is a two-year specialized program designed for senior managers or leaders in managerial or leadership roles. 

It is different from the traditional MBAs, and it is designed for mid-career executives so that they can enhance skills, develop networks, and advance careers while staying in the workplace. 

The programme is on a flexible evening schedule (6.15 PM onwards) with core courses, electives, and a major project. Admission requirements are a bachelor's degree (60% marks, 55% for SC/ST/PwD) and three years of work experience as minimum. Scholarships are 100%, 50%, and 25% waivers of tuition fees for top CGPA-ranked students.

To be eligible for admission into DMS IIT Delhi's Executive MBA (EMBA) course, candidates must possess 60% marks in thier qualifying degree (55% for SC/ST/PwD) and 2 years of work experience post-degree. The final selection is done through a personal interview. You do not require a CAT score to join the EMBA course in contrast to the regular MBA course.

DMS IIT Delhi PhD Admission 2025

IIT Delhi's Department of Management Studies (DMS) provides a comprehensive PhD in Management with a multi-disciplinary research environment and cutting-edge infrastructure. 

When Indian business schools were ranked in the Stanford survey, the DMS ranked an impressive 2nd in Business and Management, leaving all the IIMs, IITs, and ISB behind, with only IIM Bangalore ahead of it. The program offers a broad spectrum of research areas such as Economics, Finance, IT, Marketing, Operations, and Strategy. 

Some of the key research areas are global strategy, financial analytics, market research, entrepreneurship, and supply chain management. DMS develops path-breaking research with the guidance of the faculty, providing scholars with a great platform for innovation.

The General, OBC, and EWS candidates should have a Master's degree with 60% marks or B.Tech/B.E. with 75% marks. Sponsored candidates who are part-time or full-time should have eight years of experience. For full-time Ph.D. with assistantship, a GATE score greater than 300 or fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICAR, or ICMR is needed. SC/ST/PwD candidates need 55% in Master's degree or 70% in B.Tech/B.E., and a GATE score of ≥ 200 is needed for eligibility for assistantship.

Foreign applicants must have a B.Tech (4 years) with 70% marks or a Master's with 60% marks. If it is an Indian degree, then they must fulfill the same conditions as local applicants. Shortlisted applicants are put through a written examination and personal interview to determine their research competence, academic background, and applicable experience. The final selection is based on GATE/JRF (NET) marks, academic background, work experience, and interview performance.

Department of Management Studies (DMS), IIT Delhi has a formal admission procedure for its MBA and PhD courses. Eligible candidates must adopt the following steps for effective application.

• To apply online, the applicants need to log on to the official IIT Delhi DMS website and fill in the online application form before the deadline.
• Based on their score in the CAT exam, they would be invited for a personal interview
