Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University is a state-level national law university founded in 2012 under the Haryana State Legislature Act. It is located at Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat, and is accredited by the Bar Council of India (BCI). It functions under the aegis of the Government of Haryana. It aims to spread the principles of justice, equality, and legal empowerment as spread by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The Bar Council of India (BCI) and University Grants Commission (UGC) approved DBRANLU's integrated BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses.

Established in the name of the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the university aims to fulfill his vision for inclusive legal education. DBRANLU runs a five-year integrated BA LLB (Hons.) course to prepare students for careers in the judiciary, academia, corporate law, and public service.
