Dr. D.Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute, Popularly Known as DYPBBI Pune, is one of the Premier Universities in India. The University offers various programs in the field of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Also, The University offers different courses for UG, PG and PhD-level programs.

The University also offers various courses such as BTech, BTech+MTech, etc., courses for UG programs. Also, it offers MSc, etc courses for PG programs. Also, it offers various courses for PhD Program. Every year, The University offers around 10+ courses for all the programs. 

Admission to the University includes the consideration of a Certain minimum aggregate in a 10+2 relevant qualifying exam, passed graduate and a valid entrance test scores. Also, For UG, it prefers candidates with a minimum aggregate of 45% for general and 40% for reservation candidates in a 10+2 equivalent qualification with relevant subjects recognized by related boards and a valid DPU AIBTCET Score. Also, For PG, it prefers candidates with passed graduation in relevant disciplines and a valid DPU AIBTCET Score. For PhD, it prefers candidates with relevant degrees and a valid Entrance Exam Score.

Under the UG Program, The University offers courses in various streams like BTech, Integrated MTech. Its eligibility includes a good merit in a 10+2 equivalent qualification and a valid DPU AIBTCET Score. The final selection will be made by considering the merit in 10+2 and the entrance test.

Under the PG Program, The University offers courses in various streams like MSc. Its eligibility includes a good merit in bachelor’s degree and a valid DPU AIBTCET Score. The final selection will be made by considering the merit of Graduation and the entrance test.

DYPBBI Admission process 2025

Candidates are required to submit their marks while registering, which is crucial for admissions. After submitting, candidates must participate in the counselling/ admission process by selecting the preferred courses/program on the official website. Candidates will be enrolled in the selected programs based on their chosen preferences.

How to apply?

• Visit the official website at https://admissions.dpuerp.in/. 
• Start filling out the application form using personal and professional details in the available form, then choose the program/course. 

• Candidates registering for several courses must attempt entrance tests like DPU ABITCET or other entrance tests for admission in UG and PG etc programs. Also, make sure to provide all the required details and documents correctly.

• After completing the filling of personal details; participate in the counselling/ admission process by entering your scores obtained in relevant exams/boards exams as a procedure of the counselling process for admission to the University. Also, the provided scores will be used to confirm your eligibility for admission to the University.
• Based on the submitted/ acquired scores of the Board marks/ Entrance exams or relevant qualifications, the University will allocate Seats. The seat allocation process also considers the availability of seats for particular disciplines.
• Candidates who get selected or successful admission will receive a provisional offer letter. Also, this letter indicates the sign of successful admission, moving to further admission processes.
• Attend the physical counselling session as mentioned in the very mandatory offer letter. This step shows your interest and eligibility for the allocated seat.
• Pay the enrollment and other fees by the mentioned date in the provisional admission offer letter. Completing the payment is very crucial to secure your admission to the Institute.
• Complete the final registration process at the University to officially join the University.
• Classes will also commence as per the academic schedule provided by the University/ Institute.

• Visit the Official Website of DPU ABITCET
• Click ‘Apply Now’
• Fill in the related/ required details clearly 
• Attach the related/ required documents such as photo, mark sheets, etc., and Payment receipt of 1500/- to 2,000/- INR
• Print the application form and keep it for future use.
