Galgotias University: Scholarships 2025 – Eligibility, Application & Amount

They provide facility of scholarship to brilliant people based on their outstanding performance in extracurricular activities, academics, and competitive exams. Galgotias University honors and supports students who have excelled in their chosen fields of expertise, whether it be through outstanding performance on board exams like the 10+2, diploma, or graduation securing top scores in prestigious All India/State Level Entrance Tests, or showcasing exceptional talents in sports or in any other field of endeavour. Our scholarships are intended to support and encourage these talented people by giving them the reward and chances they need to develop their abilities even further and achieve even greater success.

Grant of Admission Merit-Scholarship

through Admission Notifications the scholarships to be awarded will be announced that it issued at the various times to the public during the year.

Academic Brilliance Scholarship

1. Topper Candidate of all central and state Boards get 100% tuition fee discount as scholarship.
2. Those students who securing 95% or above in class 12th (except B.Pharm and B.Sc Nursing Program) 25% tuition fee discount as scholarship.
3. For students securing 90-94.99% in class 12th. (except B.Pharm and B.Sc Nursing Program) get 15% tuition fee discount as scholarship
4. Topper (1st position) of all university get 100% tuition fee discount as scholarship.
5. For students who having minimum 90% marks or above in graduation get 25% tuition fee discount as scholarship.
6. Those students who having minimum 80-89.99% marks in graduation get 15% tuition fee discount as scholarship

 Entrance Examination Scholarship

1. Those students securing up to 25000th rank in the JEE Examination get 50% tuition fee discount as scholarship.
2. For students securing minimum 60% score in CAT , or above 600 marks in MAT get 20% tuition fee discount as scholarship.
3. For meritorious LSAT qualified students 20% tuition fee discount as scholarship.
4. The student securing minimum 100 score in CLAT exam will get 20% tuition fee discount as scholarship
5. For students who have chosen GU as their university preference in CUET (Common University Entrance Test) will get 5% fee discount as scholarship.

Ex-Student/Alumni/Old Student Scholarship

For Ex-Student/Alumni/old student of Galgotias University get 10% tuition fee discount as a scholarship obtaining admission to higher studies, provided the student must have secured a CGPA of 6.0 or more in their qualifying degree.

This scholarship will not be granted in case of gap is more than 3 years between the qualifying exam & seeking admission in Galgotias University.

Merit Scholarship Procedure of Grant of Admission

At the time of admission the scholarship will be awarded. For granting the scholarship under the specified category, the admission department must obtain prior approval from the appropriate authority, as well as the prescribed level of marks, percentile, or grades.

Merit-Scholarship Continuation of on Admission

To get the Scholarship of 10% for the next year a student will be eligible if he/she is able to maintain a CGPA of 9.0 or above, papers at the end of the previous year has no backlog of carry-over, and maintains a minimum attendance of 75%.

Merit Scholarship Admission Procedure for Grant of Continuation

On the Application form submitted by the student the scholarships will be continued along with the verified copies of results by the handler of examination if the student fulfil the conditions.

Merit-Scholarship Admission Discontinuation

Scholarship shall be discontinued at any time during a programme, from the date is directed by the Vice Chancellor, under the following conditions

1. The student will not be able to meet the Academic performance.
2. In the first attempt in the normal examination scheduled for his/her programme the student is unable to pass all the examinations. The student has been debarred from appearing in the examinations or has engaged in unfair means in examinations.
3. If the HOD/Dean reports that the student has engaged in misbehaviour, , use of drugs, gross indiscipline, misconduct, ragging or narcotics and the charges established or found in such kind of activity which breaks the Student Code of Conduct.

Once scholarship discontinued will be restored when the candidate has raised his/her CGPA to 9.0 or above, has cleared all back papers (If any), and maintains at least attendance of 75%.
