HIT Dehradun Scholarships & Financial Aid Details
Various scholarships are provided at the Himalayan Institute of Technology to facilitate students in their academic journey. A maximum of up to 90% of scholarships are provided to meritorious and eligible candidates. Some details of scholarships provided at the institute are listed below-
- Upto 15% girl student scholarship is provided on tuition fees to meritorious girls who have scored 50% or more in graduation and qualified for any national entrance exam.
- Up to 40% scholarship is provided to HIT alumni who have graduated with a minimum 75% score and qualified for any of the national entrance exams.
- 15%-90% scholarship is awarded to candidates of defence personnel and defence martyrs respectively.
- Candidates having single parents or twin brothers/sisters studying in the same institutes are given a 15% scholarship.
- Merit-based scholarship is also awarded to students having exceptional academic records.

HIT, Dehradun helps financially weak students to obtain educational loans so that their higher education is not hindered. The college itself doesn’t provide an education loan but assists in providing the necessary documents required by the student to obtain the education loan.
