The courses offered by the Hindu College of Engineering include diploma, UG, and PG in engineering and technology. B.Tech is available in CSE, ECE, ME, CE, and EE branches, and M.Tech is available in CSE, ECE, and EE. The diploma course is available in five disciplines. Other than these courses, HCE also offers specializations or honors courses in the Internet of Things, AI & ML, Robotics, Transportation, and Structures.

JEE and GATE scores are accepted for admissions to B.Tech and M.Tech respectively. Merit-based admissions are offered at HCE which is calculated based on entrance exam scores and previous academic qualifications. The cut-off set by the Hindu College of Engineering might vary for the next year. Each discipline has a different cutoff.

Hindu College of Engineering UG Admissions

Hindu College of Engineering accepts JEE scores for admissions to B.Tech courses. The lateral entry to B.Tech and Diploma in the second year is allowed at the HCE. For lateral entry to B.Tech, the Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) is conducted at the college. The seat allotment is done by generating a merit list which is prepared based on entrance scores (JEE). Eligible students who have valid JEE scores have to appear for online counseling conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society. Hindu College of Engineering PG Admissions

Candidates must have a B.E or B.Tech degree for M.Tech admissions at Hindu College of Engineering. For M.Tech admissions, HCE will prepare merit based on the student's bachelor’s degree aggregate marks and scores in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The details of the PG course are mentioned below.

Hindu College of Engineering Application Process

Candidates at the Hindu College of Engineering have the option of applying to courses via online or offline modes.

Offline Mode of Application

If a candidate wants to apply for admissions via offline mode, then he/she can follow the below-mentioned steps.

  1. Get the application form either from the admission cell of HCE or by visiting the official website.
  2. Fill out the details and submit the form at the admission cell along with the application fees of INR 1,000 in Demand Draft or cash.

Online Mode of Application

For online mode of applications, follow the below-mentioned steps.

  1. Visit https://hcesonepat.org/hces/b-tech-admission-form/ for B.Tech applications or https://hcesonepat.org/hces/m-tech-admission-form/ for M.Tech applications.
  2. Complete the form by entering the details.
  • Type your name, date of birth, gender, category, email address, and phone.
  • Type your father’s and mother’s names along with their occupation and phone number.
  • Enter your permanent and current address with City, State, and Pincode.
  • Enter your 10th and 12th board name, roll number, year of passing, subjects, and marks. If you are applying for an M.Tech course, enter your UG details also.
  • Fill out the JEE/GATE scores.
  • Choose the branch of B.Tech in order of preference.
  • If you were in employment after UG, mention the work-related details also such as company name, months of experience, etc.
  • Enter the Aadhar Card number and upload its soft copy.
  • Mention the parent’s annual income.
  • Upload 10th, 12th, JEE/LEET/GATE rank card, photograph, signature, B.Tech certificate (for M.Tech), or Character Certificate (for M.Tech)
  1. Make the payment of INR 1,000 and then submit the form.

Admission Procedure

The admission procedure for the upcoming session will consist of the following steps. Step 1: Shortlisting: The candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores in JEE/LEET/GATE exams. Step 2: Counseling: Counseling for B.Tech students will take place via the HSTES website, http://www.hstes.org.in/. Students enrolled in B.Tech courses who have valid scores in JEE are advised to register at this website. HCE participates in the counseling conducted by HSTES for B.Tech admissions. During the counseling session, seats are allocated to students who are present on the merit list which is prepared using the JEE scores and 12th marks.

Documents Required at the time of admission or verification

The below-mentioned list of documents must be ready when filling out the application and at the time of verification.

  1. Mark sheets of 10th, 12th, diploma (for B.Tech Lateral Entry), or B.Tech (all semesters)
  2. Migration, caste, and character certificate.
  3. Gap Year Affidavit
  4. Medical Fitness Certificate
  5. Copy of Aadhar Card
  6. Proof of Caste Certificate
  7. Passport size photographs
