The courses offered by the Hindu College of Engineering include diploma, UG, and PG in engineering and technology. B.Tech is available in CSE, ECE, ME, CE, and EE branches, and M.Tech is available in CSE, ECE, and EE. The diploma course is available in five disciplines. Other than these courses, HCE also offers specializations or honors courses in the Internet of Things, AI & ML, Robotics, Transportation, and Structures.
JEE and GATE scores are accepted for admissions to B.Tech and M.Tech respectively. Merit-based admissions are offered at HCE which is calculated based on entrance exam scores and previous academic qualifications. The cut-off set by the Hindu College of Engineering might vary for the next year. Each discipline has a different cutoff.
Hindu College of Engineering accepts JEE scores for admissions to B.Tech courses. The lateral entry to B.Tech and Diploma in the second year is allowed at the HCE. For lateral entry to B.Tech, the Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) is conducted at the college. The seat allotment is done by generating a merit list which is prepared based on entrance scores (JEE). Eligible students who have valid JEE scores have to appear for online counseling conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society. Candidates must have a B.E or B.Tech degree for M.Tech admissions at Hindu College of Engineering. For M.Tech admissions, HCE will prepare merit based on the student's bachelor’s degree aggregate marks and scores in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The admission procedure for the upcoming session will consist of the following steps. Step 1: Shortlisting: The candidates will be shortlisted based on their scores in JEE/LEET/GATE exams. Step 2: Counseling: Counseling for B.Tech students will take place via the HSTES website, http://www.hstes.org.in/. Students enrolled in B.Tech courses who have valid scores in JEE are advised to register at this website. HCE participates in the counseling conducted by HSTES for B.Tech admissions. During the counseling session, seats are allocated to students who are present on the merit list which is prepared using the JEE scores and 12th marks.
