IIIT Guwahati UG Admission 2025
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITG) offers B.Tech courses with two specializations and an intake of 45 students in Computer Science and Engineering and 35 students in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Applicants who have passed 10+2/ HSC with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of these as optional subject viz. IIIT Guwahati PG Admission 2025
IIIT Guwahati offers 2-year M.Tech programmes to graduate engineering students available in both on campus and online mode. For admission to the M.Tech course, applicants should have a valid GATE score. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview round by email for final shortlisting.
The university offers two specializations including Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). IIITG runs a Ph.D. program with 7 disciplines for regular, sponsored and part-time students. Applicants who have passed ME/M.Tech in apt specialization with minimum 60% marks or BE/ B.Tech Degree in relevant discipline with at least 65% marks are considered eligible to get admission in CSE/ ECE disciplines of Ph.D. program.
Students seeking admission in Economics discipline must have passed MA with Economics with minimum 60% marks. Minimum eligibility criteria for admission in English is MA in English with at least 55% marks, for Linguistics discipline is MA in Linguistics with minimum 55% marks, for Mathematics minimum eligibility criteria is M.Sc/ M.Tech in Mathematics with minimum 60% marks, and for Political Science is MA in Political Science with minimum 60% marks.
Eligible candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their academic performance and their selection for admission is done based on their marks obtained in the written test and personal interview conducted by the Institute.

IIIT Guwahati Application Process 2025
Candidates shall apply separately for B.Tech and Ph.D. programs. For B.Tech admission, JEE Main qualified candidates have to apply for JoSAA and for Ph.D. course application form could be downloaded from the institute’s website and submitted offline.
For B.Tech
