IIIT Una offers an M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with two specializations: Data Science and Cyber Security. Admission is based on a valid GATE score in either "Computer Science and Information Technology (CS)" or "Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (DA)". Candidates must have passed Mathematics at the 10+2 level. To be eligible, applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in CSE or IT with at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale. IIIT Una PhD Admissions 2025

IIIT Una offers admission into the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in both full-time and part-time mode. To be eligible for admission, applicants must have completed an M.Tech/M.E. with at least 60% marks or a 6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale (for SC/ST/PwD candidates, the requirement is 55% marks or a 5.5 CGPA). Additionally, applicants should have a B.E/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 60% marks or a 6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale. Applicants must also have qualified any of the following national-level exams: GATE, CSIR, UGC NET, DST INSPIRE, JEST, NBHM, or other equivalent fellowships. For candidates applying to the part-time PhD program, qualifying exams like GATE/NET are not mandatory. However, the institute may conduct its own entrance test. IIIT Una's admission process for all programs is conducted online. To apply for any course, candidates must complete the application form on the following websites. Admissions to the B.Tech and M.Tech programs at IIIT Una are based on the JEE Main and GATE exams. To apply for either program, candidates must follow these steps:

• For B.Tech: Applicants need to fill out the JEE Main application on the official National Testing Agency (NTA) website.
• For M.Tech: Candidates must apply through the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website (appsgate.iitd.ac.in) and also submit an application on the CCMT Portal.
