IHBAS Delhi Admission 2025: Courses, eligibility, Application Process, Dates

The Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi, provides only postgraduate Admission through entrance tests. For the M.D. (Psychiatry) and D.M. (Neurology) courses, applicants need to clear the NEET PG exam, which is a national-level exam for medical graduates for admission to postgraduate courses.

For M.Phil. In Clinical Psychology, the candidates need to clear the UGC-NET exam or the entrance test held by IHBAS. Selection is made on the basis of performance in the entrance test and interview (if held).

IHBAS is a self-governing institution under the jurisdiction of the University of Delhi. Both the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) have recognized it for the academic integrity of its courses. IHBAS Delhi provides postgraduate programs for students who wish to specialize in mental health & brain related disciplines. Admission is done through entrance examinations such as NEET PG or UGC NET. IHBAS Delhi Application Process for NEET PG 2025

Follow the below stated steps to register for NEET PG:

1. Go to the official website of NEET PG and click on the New registration link
2. After reading the instructions thoroughly, click on apply online
3. Enter the required details in the application form such as personal details, academic details and other details
4. Check the application form thoroughly & click on Final Submit
5. Candidates will be provided with NEET PG login credentials after successful registration
6. Log in once again with the credentials to finalize the NEET PG application form
7. Scan and upload the necessary documents such as passport size photo and postcard size photo, signature, left thumb impression, class 10 passing certificate in the form as per the instructions
8. Pay the application fee using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI app/ E-Wallet
9. Take a print of the application form as well as the confirmation page for reference later on.

• Scanned copy of Passport size photograph of the candidate
• Scanned copy of Postcard size photograph of the candidate
• Scanned copy of the signature of the candidate
• Scanned copy of left thumb impression
• Mark sheet of 10th

• Valid identity proof

IHBAS Delhi Application Process 

The IHBAS M.Phil admission process is merit-based only. The IHBAS M.Phil admission process consists of three stages -

• Entrance Exam – The candidates must appear and pass the entrance exam scheduled for the M.Phil course at IHBAS.
• Interview- Candidates clearing the IHBAS entrance exam are shortlisted based on the marks they obtained and are invited for the interview. The candidates must clear the interview round in order to be admitted to the M.Phil course at IHBAS.
• The candidates must submit the Application form filled in all respects as stipulated on the IHBAS website to the HOD and Chief Course Coordinator of the concerned courses.

Application Fee

• For General, InService and Foreign Candidates – INR 2000
• For Reserved Categories – INR 1000
• Application fee shall be paid by way of DD drawn in the favour of Director, University of Delhi along with the application only.
• Documents Verification- The selected candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance during the interview. Then, their documents submitted while applying for the application form shall be verified.
• The documents must be original and not fake. In case the documents are false then the college will cancel the admission and appropriate action will be taken.
• Applications received without application fee or supporting documents will not be processed.
