Candidates seeking for B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., B.E., and BBA programs must have completed the 10+2 examination with at least 50% from a recognised board.
To be eligible for admission to the B.E. course, applicants must take the JEE Main entrance exam.
B.Ed. and LL.B. applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
Admission to the LL.B. or B.A. LL.B. programs will be based on the national CLAT entrance exam.
Candidates for admission to the B.Ed. program must take the MP Pre-B.Ed test.
Candidates seeking for the B.Arch program must take the NATA entrance exam.
However, admission to the four-year B.Pharma program is based on 10+2 in the science stream, followed by state government counselling.

The Library's collection includes over 100,000 books, 279 e-books from Britannica Online, 239 e-books from Pearson, 108 journal and magazine subscriptions, 48 newspapers, Delnet and N-List memberships, 2770 CDs, and 1589 bound volumes.
The library uses an open access system. The books are arranged subject-wise. Further organisation of books by subject and classification allows for immediate access to books. The Dewey Decimal Classification System is used to classify books.
The library's catalogue is available online, known as the online public access catalogue (OPAC). The library customer has three access points within the library. Users can also access instructive video CDs at the library.
