Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) College of Engineering is a private, autonomous institution accredited by the AICTE and connected with JNTU Hyderabad. The Telangana government founded Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College in 1965, and it was associated with Osmania University. JNTU Hyderabad acquired the college in 1972, and it was renamed JNTU College of Engineering. The college relocated to its current campus in Kukatpally in 1984, which is located on a 100-acre plot along the Bombay National Highway, about 20 kilometres from the city centre.
The institution provides a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in several engineering fields. The campus houses departments such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science engineering. The college also offers an Integrated Dual-Degree Programme (IDP), which combines BTech and MTech degrees in five years, as well as an MBA option that is integrated with BTech.
JNTUH College of Engineering is well-known for its campus facilities, which include separate hostels for boys and girls, a library, a computer centre, a restaurant, and large play areas. Almost all students get employment through university recruitment initiatives. The college hosts a well-known student-level technical paper contest named STHAPATHYA, which attracts contestants from engineering colleges around the country. A National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit, led by a faculty member, promotes students to be disciplined and serve their communities.

JNTUH: Admission 2024
JNTU College of Engineering in Hyderabad offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. The college also provides integrated level programs in the fields of engineering and technology. It also provides a three-year MCA, a two-year M.Sc program, and two five-year Integrated programs.
Admission is made in accordance with the regulations and criteria established by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and JNTUH.
Admission to the B.Tech program is accomplished by a standardized entrance exam known as EAMCET.
Candidates seeking admission to the MCA program must take the TS ICET exam.
Admission to the M.Tech and M.Sc programs is via PGECET/GATE.

JNTUH Facilities
The institution has 40 lecture halls, four drawing halls, laboratories, a computer centre, and a seminar hall with seating capacity for 150 people.
Each department has its own library and lecture room within its own building.
