The University of Kashmir placement cell plans a variety of events for the students, such as career planning, career counselling, and others. The value of decision-making abilities, occupational knowledge, acceptable work skills, and attitudes is instilled in the students.

In partnership with BHEL and ONGC, the placement office at the University of Kashmir Srinagar has offered training for students with great success. The Kashmir University Srinagar UG graduates have been offered a median salary of Rs 8 LPA and the average package offered by Kashmir University placements for PG graduates is Rs 5 LPA.
