The cut-off at LBSIM is based on the scores of students in the CAT/XAT/GMAT exam for the PGDM program and the CAT/XAT/UGC-NET exam for the FPM program. LBSIM does not take direct admissions so it is advised to the applicants that they must remember the dates of the mentioned examination. Also, candidates in the final year of their bachelor’s program can apply for the PGDM and FPM programs but must have their graduation degree with them.
LBSIM generates cut-offs concerning many factors such as the difficulty level of the CAT/XAT/GMAT/UGC-NET exam, the number of candidates applying for the course, and the number of seats available.

LBSIM: How to calculate cut-off
The procedure that LBSIM follows to select the students for their courses is as mentioned below.
- The aggregate marks of previous academics, written ability tests, extempore, group discussion, and personal interview is calculated.
- The score obtained in CAT/XAT/GMAT exams is given 60% importance.
The scores obtained in the above steps are then added which is the aggregate score of the candidate and this score will then be used to gain admission to PGDM programs.
