Madras School of Social Work (MSSW) offers the BSW and B.Sc. courses at the UG level, the MSW, M.Sc. and M.A. courses at the PG level and the M. Phil and PhD courses at the Doctorate level. Madras School of Social Work also offers the Post Graduate Diploma courses at the PG level.
Candidates can apply to all the courses at MSSW online, through the official website of the college. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from any stream are eligible to apply for the UG courses. BSW and B.Sc. seats will be allotted on the basis of merit in the qualifying 10+2 examination.
Candidates who have completed graduation of minimum 3 years, from any discipline, are eligible to apply for the MSW and M.A. courses. Candidates who have completed graduation in psychology or counseling psychology are eligible to apply for the M.Sc. course. PG course seats will be allotted on the basis of scores obtained in an entrance test and performance in group discussion and personal interview, conducted by the college.
Candidates who have completed graduation from any discipline and have work experience are eligible to apply for the PG Diploma courses. Candidates who have completed PG degree in the respective streams are eligible to apply for the M.Phil and PhD courses. PG Diploma, M.Phil and PhD course seats will be allotted on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree examination.
