MIT Academy of Engineering admissions are managed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. MIT Alandi offers B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral), B.Des and M.Tech programmes. Admissions to B.Tech. and M.E. are regulated by DTE, Maharashtra. Eligible candidates have to register for counselling on the official website of the DTE, Maharashtra. Minimum eligibility to apply for B.Tech. is 10+2 examination or equivalent with at least 50% marks with Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry/ Biotechnology as compulsory subjects.
Admission to B.E. programs are offered on the basis of JEE Main or MHT-CET Entrance Exam scores. Direct Entry to 2nd year of B.Tech. program is open for the candidates with Diploma in Engineering & Technology or B.Sc. Degree with minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in aggregate. Applicants to M.E. course must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology with at least 50% marks in aggregate.However, for admission in M.E., the candidate must pass GATE Entrance Exam with a valid score.There is a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC/ physically handicapped candidates at the time of admission.

The GATE 2025 results for ME/MTech admissions are out, with branch-wise cutoff details available. The MHT CET 2025 for BE/BTech will be held from April 19–27 (except April 24). Admissions for the BTech Electronics Engineering branch are now closed.

MIT Academy of Engineering, Alandi UG Admission 2025
MIT Academy of Engineering provides full-time B.Tech. programs in eight core specializations. Minimum qualification to apply for the course is passing HSC Examination with not less than 50% marks (5% marks relaxation for reserved category) in aggregate with Mathematics or Physics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biotechnology or Biology, technical or vocational subjects. Candidates will need to appear in JEE Main exam or MHT-CET organized by DTE, Maharashtra prior to applying for admission to the course.
It also provides Direct Entry to 2nd year B.Tech. programs. Candidates who are interested and have passed Diploma or B.Sc. with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) from a recognized board in the Engineering stream can apply for the course. Candidates should have Mathematics in 10+2 to be considered for admission to B.Tech. lateral entry scheme.

MIT Academy of Engineering grants admission to M.E. in Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering to candidates with 50% marks in Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an AICTE approved institution or its equivalent. Selection of candidates on final basis depends on the score secured in GATE along with merit in qualifying examination.

The online only application process is followed for MIT Academy of Engineering. Candidates who wish to join B.Tech. and M.E. are required to register themselves for MHT-CET/JEE Main and GATE respectively through the respective official website.
