Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology was established in 2005 by the KMR Education Trust which is led by Mr. Marri Laxman Reddy. The Institution is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). MLRIT was granted ‘Autonomous’ status by the University Grants Commission (India) in 2015.

MLR Institute of Technology Admission 2025
MLR Institute of Technology offers both UG and PG courses. The courses include B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA. Admission to these courses of MLRIT is completely based on candidates’ performance in the entrance exam. The entrance exams accepted by the institution for admission in 2025 are GATE , TS-EAMCET, TS-ICET, and TS-PGECET. Students are needed to apply offline by downloading the application form and submitting it with the application fees to the college’s address through Demand Draft.

MLR Institute of Technology Scholarships 2025
The Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology offers one scholarship, namely, ‘Cybage Khushboo Scholarship’. The institution and the Cybage Khushboo Charitable Trust has signed an MoU. According to this MoU, around 15 scholarships are awarded to B.Tech students who meet the following eligibility criterias-
- They must’ve scored 60%+ marks in Class 10, Class 12th or Diploma.
- Annual income of their family must be less than INR 4 LPA.
- They have secured or are seeking admission in any Government or Private Institution based on their merit.
- Only B.Tech pursuing students are eligible for this scholarship.
MLR Institute of Technology Campus 2025
The MLRIT Hyderabad provides excellent infrastructure facilities for its students. The infrastructure facilities of MLR Institute of Technology includes a Built-Up Area, Central Library, Auditorium, Hostel Accommodation, Transport Facility, Cafeteria, Medical Facility, ATM Facility, and numerous Clubs & Cells. MLR Institute of Technology Placements
The MLRIT Hyderabad provides excellent Placement Opportunities and Training to its students. As per 2023 Placement Report, a total of 658+ students were placed, 733+ offers were offered to students and a highest salary package of INR 58 LPA. According to the MLRIT Placement 2022 Report, more than 600 students participated in the placement process and 43 companies and 38 MNC’s visited the campus for recruitment. A total of 550+ students were placed and around 1250 offers were made during the 2022 placements. In the 2022 Placement Drive, the highest, average and lowest salary packages were INR 30 LPA, INR 6.15 LPA, and INR 3.25 LPA were offered, respectively.
