Mohanlal Sukhadia University is working to maintain best quality in teaching, research, and community service since its establishment. Developing a scientific mind, holding high ethical standards, and staying up to date with new fields of higher education received a lot of attention. MLSU also provide Scholarship facility to those who are financially poor, deserving and needy students. These are the following scholarships provide by MLSU:
General Rules:
Financial assistance is given only as per merit and need. Any scholarship or loan may be suspended or cancelled permanently by the sanctioning authority in the event of lack of regular attendance/satisfactory academic progress and good conduct of the recipient. Such suspended scholarships or loans can be reinstated with retrospective effect if the sanctioning authority is satisfied. Normally all scholarships and loan assistance will be available regularly for the duration of the prescribed course for which they are sanctioned, provided the recipient maintains regular attendance, satisfactory progress, good conduct and proper observance of the discipline of the College.
Need-cum-Merit Scholarship:
- All students whose annual income of parents/guardian is fixed by the State Government and who have 60% or have obtained more marks will be eligible to apply. Relatively low income among students with desirable qualifications. Preference will be given in providing scholarships to the students of this category.
- Other rules for implementation of scholarship will be the same as are applicable for national scholarship.
National Scholarship:
National Scholarship of the Government of India is given by the Education Department to those students who have secured first division or 60% or more marks in the graduation examination. Complete details regarding this can be obtained from the college office.
UGC Junior Research Fellowship:
University Grants Commission Junior Research Scholarship JRF is awarded in limited numbers to candidates pursuing research for the degree of Ph.D. in the Post Graduate Department and who have completed the relevant research program organized by the University Grants Commission. Must have succeeded in the examination NET. Under this, junior researchers receive a scholarship of ₹ 25,000 per month and as per rules, annual contingency grant of ₹ 12,000 in the Science Faculty and ₹ 10,000 in other faculties.
University Grants Commission Rajiv Gandhi National Scholarship:
The scholarship amount shown in point number 4 is provided to the candidates selected by the University Grants Commission for the students of Scheduled Castes and Tribes who do research work for the degree of Vidyavachaspati Ph.D. in the Post Graduate Department of the University is performed.
University Grants Commission Maulana Azad National Scholarship:
- The scholarship amount shown in point number 4 is provided to the candidates selected by the University Grants Commission to the students of minority community who do research work for the degree of Vidyavachaspati Ph.D. in the postgraduate department of the university.
- C.S.I.R. And I.C.S. S. R. Research scholarship provided to eligible candidates through the University is performed.
Departmental Fellowship:
One research scholarship in each department. Minimum Qualification:
At least 55% marks in postgraduate examination 50% marks for Scheduled Castes and Tribes. Scholarship amount of ₹ 600 per month among the recipients. One year maximum two years at a time. ₹ 700 per month for the second year.
General Rules Regarding Scholarship and Financial Assistance:
- Scholarships awarded by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan
- If a student leaves the college in the middle of the session, the scholarship will be cancelled in the month in which he leaves the institution.
- The scholarship will be awarded till June next year from the month of admission of the student in the institution, if he/she has must have received admission by the due date otherwise the scholarship will be received from the next month.
- Scholarship given to students of Scheduled Caste/Jaja and Vimukt and Nomadic castes.
- Handicapped Scholarship for handicapped/deaf/mute/blind students.
- Post Matric Scholarship Rules under Devnarayan Scheme – 2010.

Other Scholarships I National Loan Scholarship
- Scholarship payable to children of freedom fighters
- Scholarship given to children of deceased state employees
- National scholarship given to children of teachers
- Scholarship given to children and widows of soldiers killed or disabled in the India-Pakistan and India-China wars.
Student's Aid Fund:
- Student Relief Fund is established by the students of the colleges with an annual fee of ₹ 40 per student. The objective of this fund is to provide assistance to poor students to meet tuition or examination fees or expenditure on books or any other such expenditure.
- The fund is managed by the college dean through a committee formed for this purpose.
- Except in special circumstances, assistance from the fund is not given to students who are receiving scholarship or other financial assistance.
- Applications for assistance from the fund should be made on the prescribed form by the date informed by the owner.
- Full/Half Freeship assistance to very poor and deserving students from the fund up to 10% of the total number of students paying tuition fee for the category will be provided to the students.
- For applying for this assistance, only the income certificate issued by the competent authority as per the rules of the state government will be valid.
Financial Assistance for Prakrit Students:
- The students studying regularly in the Jain Vidya and Prakrit Department of the University are required to follow the accepted rules.
- Accordingly, limited facility of incentive amount is available. For more information the concerned department can be contacted.
- Scheduled Caste/Tribe/Other Backward Class and physically handicapped students under UGC. Apply for scholarship in the month of February every year.
Gold Medals and other awards:
- Every year, the University graduates, post-graduate later and M.A. in the Faculty of Arts, Commerce, Law and Science. Phil. Gold medals are awarded to students securing first position in the examination. A student who passes in second or third division is not awarded a gold medal even if he gets first position. The Gold Medal is awarded as per the then existing rules of the University.
- M.Sc. from the Department of Geography of the University. / MA. The person securing first position in the Geography examination will be awarded a gold medal by 'Bhairulal Lilavati Sukhwal Foundation' USA.
- MBA in Faculty of Management Studies. The student securing first position in the regular two-year course will be given a cash prize of ₹ 1001/- and a memento from 'Mehta Jagannath Singh Bhaumkumari Charitable Foundation'.
- M.Sc. The student securing first position in merit in Geology will be given the title of 'Prof. R. Of. Srivastava' ₹ 1001/- cash prize and memento will be awarded.
- M.Sc. The student securing first position in merit in Geology will be awarded 'Vijaysingh Devpura Memorial' Silver Medal Gold Plated and ₹5000/- cash prize.
- M.A. The student securing first position in merit in Hindi will be named 'Swt. Professor Lalit Shankar Pushpa Devi Sharma will be given a silver medal gold plated and a memento.
- B. com. The student securing first position in the third year is named 'Dr. C.B. Mamoriya' Gold Medal will be awarded.
- 'CEWS Singhvi Award' is given by Alert Institute every year from the year 2012 in the form of scholarship to the best students of Post Graduate M.Com and M.Phil Department of Business Administration who are financially weak at college level. Is provided on.
