Nandkishor
At the beginning of 2006, NISER was established in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, which now ranks amongst premier research institutes in India. An autonomous institute affiliated with Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, the institute is managed under Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. NISER Admission Process
The examination-based admission procedure of NISER is applicable for nearly all of the courses. Outlined in the following sections is the admission procedure for each of these programs:
Integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. Programme
- Eligibility: Candidates must have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
- Selection Procedure: For admission, the NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) score is taken into account.
- Application Procedure: Candidates need to apply online through the official NISER website and appear for NEST.
Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. Programme
- Eligibility: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 55% marks in relevant subjects.
